The children nodded excitedly. “The wolf story!” one of them exclaimed. “We want to hear the wolf story again!” How could I refuse? The ‘wolf story’ in question was one that I had made up yesterday on the spot, a story about a rogue wolf chasing a little girl. It was a scary story that had made the children gasp, their eyes wide with fear, but they seemed to love it.

The baby-faced boy then ran as fast as he could to the exit. “Why can't we be afraid?” inquired Venus was curious. Mr. Zub looked at the girl with incredible ferocity. “These creatures are fear-eaters, you know?!” snapped Mr. Zub impatiently. “They absorb fear through the air, and anyone who is afraid will get hit by the fire! Without any explanation you should know that they are dangerous! Why are you standing foolishly here?” “Er, they are cool… I think,” Venus said even more stupid. “What the hell is cool, kid?!”

Archibald Frisby is a book about a kid who likes science, but whose mother wants him to make 'real' friends and do kid shit. This kid. I read her bullshit story, which she fell asleep halfway through, but I got the gist. My scary ass kid is setting down the gauntlet. I brushed her hair back and kissed her brow. Knowing that even though we didn't have the talk, she'd gone to sleep knowing her daddy was here.

After throwing off all his clothing to be nude before wading into the water waist-deep, Grub turned to Rex, “What was wonky leg doing with scary lady alone? You have less fear than Grub to be smiling after that.” “She isn’t so bad,” Rex replied with a shrug, throwing his tunic on over his head. “Did scary lady force you into making the sex?” Grub asked, scowling slightly at the extra shallow scratch marks Rex had on his body. “That does not surprise me, I would not say no either. Scary lady has aura worse than arctic bear, which Grub fought alone without weapon.” “Can I ask you about your marks?” Rex asked, his curiosity piqued by his constant referring to them.

The cab driver, a tall, handsome man with a thick mustache, smiled at her and said, "Well hello there, new in town?" Ivy nervously nodded and tried to smile back. She had heard about this place, but had no idea what to expect. "Well, welcome to our little slice of paradise," the cab driver said. "Just be careful though. There's been a lot of rumors about a werewolf family living around here." Ivy gulped, her eyes wide with fear. She had never heard of such a thing! The cab driver chuckled and said, "Don't worry, they're just stories. But you should still be careful. This is a big city, and it can be dangerous."

To her utmost surprise, Karen saw her eyes change from their initial color to green and her skin had fur. Initially, she felt a goosebump all around her body. It did not occur to her that fur was coming out of her skin. "Ahhh!" She let out an audible shout. She felt so scared. On hearing her scream, Karen's father rushed into the room to see what was going on. He saw all that happened to his daughter outside the house. "Karen! Are we okay?" He asked as he approach her. She was already crying at this point. As he held her on the shoulder from behind trying to console her because Karen was already in tears. Karen turned reluctantly to her and he was surprised to the bones.

She grinned and said gleefully, "I'll get more of those next time." But her joy didn't last long. That very night, Rufus started suffering from severe pain and itching. He was scratching at his bottom and yelling, "Help! My butt is killing me!" Before he was even done complaining, Hilda had barged into our room.
