My Vampire

My Vampire

I almost wasn't able to stop myself but I knew I had to for her own sake. Vampires can see other people's emotions but they cannot feel them. We are naturally emotionless creatures that don't feel things. That's why vampires are one of the most dangerous creatures you could meet because they're completely merciless. The only emotion they're able to feel is lust. I have a few that I can feel specifically because I'm cursed to be the protector but others couldn't. For example the hurt I was able to feel when Maya assumed I was the one who injured her. I was her protector and she should've known that I would never hurt her in any way. Those are the kind of emotions that comes with the curse of

Vamp Invasion

Vamp Invasion

SARAH'S POV I sat there in the cold dark alley for quite a while and not even a rat passed by, I was starting to get scared when I heard faint laughter, more like a chuckle from afar. The sound became louder and clearer. It was no longer just the sound of laughter, I could now hear footsteps approaching. The closer they came the clearer their voices, they sound like nice people, I should probably ask them for help. What will I say though, I can't possibly tell them that I'm a vampire princess who came here through a porthole and woke up, then blacked out, then woke up again in a place where I was stabbed with needles and driven away by the smell of blood and somehow ended up here with no one

Last Vampire.

Last Vampire.

"I can feel your fear, smell your blood, and my body is screaming to take a big, huge bite." Elijah Orleans was overcome with uncontrollable fear that seemed to fill every part of his body. The woman standing before him had a face that turned dark as she stared at him. She pulled back a little, her chest rising, and her mouth opening in a way that he knew was not possible for a normal human being. Large fangs came out in the place of her normal teeth, and her face took on the shape of a ferocious animal. Veins popped out on her face, and her pure brown eyes turned a shade of black worse than anything he had ever seen before. She growled, emitting the most terrifying sound he had ever heard.

Her Nomad Blood Prince

Her Nomad Blood Prince

Whoever sensed it, will either face death or just run like any scared cat. “You…no…it…can’t…be…” one of the vampires sensed that vibe and it made it quiver. The malice that Vladimir was emitting was very bloody dangerous and deathly that can hunt anyone in their dreams. It was a kind of malice that can make anyone loses their sense of sanity and only a few vampires can do that. “Don’t be scared pussy and kill her!” Tosh shouted when that first vampire came on running away from the danger that Vladimir was emitting.

The Triplet Warriors and Their Pup Mate(Shadow Warrior Series)

The Triplet Warriors and Their Pup Mate(Shadow Warrior Series)

~Three Days Later~ ~Sunny’s Point of View~ “Mommy, can I ask you something,” I said. “Of course honey, what is it,” she said, brushing my hair. I loved that, it was so relaxing and it almost put me to sleep. “Who is the scary man that is around sometimes, why does he always stare at me,” I asked. “Oh … well sweetie he’s a vampire and he lives here,” she said. “He LIVES here?! Why does he live here, shouldn’t he be with others like him, won’t he hurt us,” I asked, horrified.

Absolutely brilliant! I finished this book in a day and I'm devastated there isn't a sequel! It's like Game of thrones, meets True blood, meets the Witcher, but also at the same time completely in its own field and ridiculously addictive! highly recommend this book!! thank you author ❤️

Definitely my favorite books on here! I love them so much, I read them all again when Ben's book was finished. I do feel like his book was missing some things, though. I just don't feel like they actually figured out how to make things work at the end. It just kind of forced a happy ending.

Ashmoor Unseen Wolf

Ashmoor Unseen Wolf

“No more waiting.” Lily’s brow furrowed, arms crossed tightly. “Kill her?” Her voice wavered. “Can’t we just... scare her? Maybe rough her up a little? I don’t want blood on my hands.” Vicky, ever the viper, bared her fangs in a sneer. “You claim to be a vampire, yet you tremble at the sight of blood? Pathetic. You whimper like a frightened human.” Lily’s jaw tightened. “I’m not soft… just not a psychopath.”

My Cold Hearted Mate

My Cold Hearted Mate

Their dreadful eyes looked at the direction of the Alpha who was still on the ground, coughing out blood. "A Vampire werewolf hybrid! We are in danger!' Someone from the crowd yelled. If it was not already enough to scare them, the sudden revelation of Scarlett scared them even more.A loud growl rambled out of Scarlett's throat which made each wolf present at the field flinch. She lunched forward and caught one of the wolf, ready to sink her canins to fulfill her craving of blood. But her wolf was pushed away harshly, making her roll down to ground. She got back on her four and glared at the big wolf, (Lucian) in front of her who glared at her with same intensity..

Vampires and Vampire Hunters

Vampires and Vampire Hunters

He jumped on top of me, inspecting my face. “Shoot!” I mumbled to myself. Speed had always been my strength, but I guessed that drunken vampires were more agile than normal ones. This situation was becoming more dire. "What's your name love?" He asked, still slurring. I could still smell the thick, lingering scent of alcohol on his breath, but I refused to look up at him. My heart was raging, and I could hear it thumping loudly in my eardrums... Hell, I could feel the blood pumping through my every vein. It was not like me to be so nervous. To be so... Scared when battling a vampire. But there was something about those red eyes which glowed and pulsed dangerously that had my skin crawling.

The Vampire's Intern

The Vampire's Intern

“Wha' wrog?” “They found another body,” She said, “Under the bridge. Same place as the last one. They said the body had all its blood drained out.” “Just like the last ones.” I shivered. She turned to me, eyebrows raised. “Apparently there are no obvious wounds. Do you still think they’re animal attacks?” “Of course.” I rolled my eyes. “What else would they be? Vampires?” “You think I’m crazy, but that’s the only explanation that makes sense.”

Slaved by My alpha Mate

Slaved by My alpha Mate

The study was filled with books of old volumes on paranormal and cult creatures. Open on the desk was a volume dedicated to vampires with regards to the last decade. Scott had never seen such an extensive collection of books on paranormal creatures. Everything he knew was what his father taught him. He’d met most of the species of the Otherworld. The species he hadn’t met he’d been told he never wanted to know. Sitting down in Raymond’s chair, Scott pulled the book into his lap. There were several pictures of vampires with sharp fangs. Blood-suckers. Holy water. Garlic. Mind control. So many words connected with vampires.

Frequently Asked Questions

I still get that cold prickle when I think about the shadow slipping up the stairs in 'Nosferatu'. I was a film-obsessed teenager who’d scrounge late-night prints and bootlegs, and that image — the long, clawed silhouette at the window, the way Count Orlok’s face reads like a predator’s skull — stuck with me more than any jump scare. The pacing is deliberate, silent-era dread: the creeping approach, the nails on wood, the rat-filled atmosphere. For sheer uncanny horror, it’s hard to beat the original 'Nosferatu' (1922) or F. W. Murnau’s world of long shadows and inevitability.

A different kind of gut-punch is found in 'Horror of Dracula' (1958). Christopher Lee’s presence in the Hammer films transformed Dracula into a physical, prowling threat — the scenes where he stalks the attic, or slowly mounts a bed to feed, are visceral. The sound design — the scrape of fabric, the wetness of the bite — makes it feel intimate and disgusting in a way that modern CGI often can’t replicate. Then there’s 'Bram Stoker’s Dracula' (1992): it’s operatic and lush, but the seduction sequences and Lucy’s transformation are grotesque and beautiful at once. Gary Oldman’s Dracula has those visceral feeding moments and the brides’ chaotic attacks that are both sexy and terrifying.

If you want something meta and unexpectedly creepy, watch 'Shadow of the Vampire' (2000). Willem Dafoe as Max Schreck is literally animal — the way he moves and devours in that film made me flinch in a crowded theater. Between the arthouse creep of 'Nosferatu', the physical menace of the Hammer films, and the stylistic gore of Coppola, those are the Dracula-centric scenes that stuck with me the longest — the ones that make me check the corners of the room.
