Wrecking My Husband

Wrecking My Husband

I beamed. "Crazy, isn't it?" "Fucking crazy, for real." "First, we put THE DA VINCI CODE by DAN BROWN here." He picked out the book and inserted it in the center line of the shelf. He put HOW TO STOP TIME by MATT HAIG, followed by EVERGREEN by NAOMI HIRAHARA. "Then KISS THE GIRLS by JAMES PATTERSON." He put it next to the first book. "I've read that." I went on in a spur of excitement. "It's a thriller and mystery novel about a detective who's trying to track down a serial killer. So many twists and cliffhangers. Total page-turner." I giggled.

THE NEWEST ALPHA

THE NEWEST ALPHA

“Yes, that's exactly it. That was very insightful. What other authors do you like? “Oh, several. She looked at me then. Her eyes sparkled as she spoke. “I've read all the classic science fiction authors, of course. Asimov, HG Wells, Frank Herbert. I especially love science fiction when it intersects with horror. "So you're a big Lovecraft fan?"

THE ALPHA'S TRUE MATE

THE ALPHA'S TRUE MATE

But nothing seemed to match the symbol on my door. Frustrated, I leaned back in my chair, rubbing my temples. There had to be something here, some clue that I was missing. I glanced at the stack of books beside me, my eyes landing on one that looked older and more worn than the others. Its leather cover was cracked and faded, the title barely legible: *The Mysteries of Silverwood.* I pulled the book closer and opened it carefully. The pages were brittle, the text handwritten in an elegant script. As I flipped through the pages, a passage caught my eye:

Detective Casie Blackwood and the Moonlit Secrets

"Pack life is... less inhibited than human society." Inside the bag, they found several leather-bound volumes with ancient-looking symbols embossed on their covers, a small wooden box carved with lunar phases, and a sealed envelope addressed to "Detective Richard O'Connor, Newly Awakened." "Your brother has a flair for the dramatic," Rick observed, holding up the envelope. "All Blackwoods do," Nathaniel said with a hint of amusement. "It's practically genetic." Casie shot him a look but couldn't deny the truth of it. "Open the letter first. Knowing Liam, it's a roadmap to everything else."

CHAOS- Book 1 of the KHAOS CHRONICLES

CHAOS- Book 1 of the KHAOS CHRONICLES

I growled out “Or what? Before we get down to the necessary introductions, I want to make it clear that though you may be an alpha you are certainly not mine. Chaos has been and will always be my alpha and that’s not going to change. And before you go all alpha on me, I’ve got something sweet for you. ‘The truth always comes out. No matter how deep its buried… you may be comfortable in the shadows because you think it’s a temporal home for your secret but know that, that same shadows is a permanent dwelling place for another’…” she said cryptically with mockery laced in her words I turned swiftly to glance around the room and I knew in my heart of heart that disaster was nearing. I watched a

Accidentally Kidnapping The Don

And then there are books I’ve never even heard of, their spines there telling me that something amazing awaits inside of them. A smile creeps onto my face as I notice the careful arrangement. The books are organised into categories that reveal an understanding of my interests I never thought anyone could possess. I glance at Chase, whose playful grin matches my own. “We figured we would organise it for you,” Chase says, his tone light-hearted as he gestures towards the shelves. “Here’s your alien collection. Over here, we’ve got your ghosts, demons, and other supernatural stuff. And this section is dedicated to mafia and motorcycle stories. Should I keep going?”

THE PASTOR'S SON'S DIRTY LITTLE SECRECT

THE PASTOR'S SON'S DIRTY LITTLE SECRECT

Anonymous mentioned old sci-fi books in passing, referencing a classic series about rogue AIs and lost space colonies. Anonymous: That series is underrated. The way the characters question everything in those abandoned worlds… hits different on nights like this. Leon paused, thumb freezing mid-air. He actually liked that exact series. It was one of his quiet escapes, the dog-eared paperbacks hidden under his bed alongside other secrets. A common interest. He hadn’t expected that. For a moment, his skepticism wavered. Still, he replied carefully, not fully opening yet. Leon: Yeah. Some of those books are okay.

The Deal with the Billionaire Devil

I couldn’t help but smile. He squinted his eyes at me. “Ah, you know something that I don’t.” “Know what?” My smile widened. “At least, you share my frustration. It’s a good book, right?” “Yes. One of the great books I’ve read.” “I don’t even know if you read.” He smiled sadly. “One thing only a few people know about me, but yeah, I read.” “What’s your genre?” “Thriller, mystery, nonfiction. But Midnight is a mix of—"

The Rejected Curvy Luna Queen

The Rejected Curvy Luna Queen

The ancient tome lay open before me, its pages a labyrinth of inscrutable symbols and faded script that murmured of a time long forgotten. The musty scent of the library mingled with the potent tang of old leather, wrapping around my senses as I bent closer to study the enigmatic text. Curiosity clawed at my mind, sharpening my focus until nothing existed beyond the cryptic messages waiting to be unraveled. ... (Time Travel: revelation of the mystery book) EDEN BENTLEY'S POV

The Luna Reborn: Surviving As The FL In A Werewolf Romance

The Luna Reborn: Surviving As The FL In A Werewolf Romance

"Give us a mystery! Give us a heist! Give us a plot that isn't about who I'm sleeping with!" I lunged for the Anchor just as the silver arrows struck the stone. The combination of my "Editor" energy and the conductive silver created a backdraft of pure, white-hot narrative force. The clones shattered into glass shards. The purple mist was sucked back into the pillar. And then, the voice of the Author changed. It went from a scream to a glitchy, distorted whisper. “Fine. You want a different story? You want a mystery? Then find the Architect. Book Two: The Silent Kingdom. Coming... never.”
