Science Fiction Writing Mga Nobela at Kwento

My sincere thanks to you for reading the short book, Epidemic. This is actually my first sci-fi and zombie type of story, but I hope I did well, and I'll surely work more on improving myself. I wrote this book in a day without even planning for it before (LOL). A colleague of mine asked for one of my works to be added to an anthology he is currently working on. He specified it must be sci-fi, I've never written any sci-fi book before, so I had to quickly put down something. It's kinda funny, I know. Every flash of light was a slap in the face to the girl who had been riding him in a boat house forty-eight hours ago. "So, Emma," Sophie said, her eyes suddenly fixing on mine. They weren't blue; they were the color of a shallow sea over white sand—beautiful, but impossible to see the bottom of. "Hannah tells me you’re a writer. Fiction, isn't it? Something about... romances?" The way she said "romances" made it sound like I was writing dirty limericks on bathroom walls. "Yes," I said, my voice remarkably steady despite the internal earthquake. "I write genre fiction. It’s a lot of work, but I enjoy the world-building."

About a man who has the ability to change reality through his dreams.” “I can see why you might be into that.” He smiled faintly. “It’s not quite what you think. The protagonist is very much a dreamer. Passive to a fault. It’s other people who want to change the world, usually with disastrous consequences.” Cole sighed. “You know, that’s another thing I don’t get about science fiction. For a genre that’s supposed to be all about technology and progress and the future…why does it always turn out to be a massive disaster whenever somebody tries to do anything or change anything?”
