She nodded slightly before peering deeper into the store. " There's an arcade game at that corner over there. Want to play?" " Uh... Sure. " " You have a penny?" " A few coins." We walked over to the arcade and she slotted a coin into it and soon the arcade popped to the life. It was just a regular game, nothing fancy, but she looked good at it. " You know how to play?" I asked.

In no time, we're inside a dark room, ready to begin. However, not even three seconds into the game, my detector goes off. Damn it! I turn to identify the culprit, and it's the same cheeky kid from outside. "I told you that you were too old for this," he teases with an annoying smirk. "The point of the game is not to get caught, grandma!" He dashes off before I can react, and I instantly make it my mission to outscore him by the end of the game. Taking a deep breath, I raise my gun to eye level and set off.

Scoot roared and immediately gave chase. Scoot raised his hand to punch. The air around contorted, and cracking sounds that sounded like roaring thunder were heard. It was quite impressive. The look on Chase's face changed as he hastily blocked the attack. Chase shot out backward like a cannonball and crashed hard into a tree.

I have read a lot of novels where highschool student trys to play a game at a party but disaster always happen after that. I won't be a part of this game, i rather watch and entertain myself.
