Adrian laughed softly from the screen. “Technically, a play castle. But yes. A castle.”
Poppy shrieked with joy, a betrayal of eardrums everywhere and a direct threat to every living thing within a two-house radius.
“I knew it! I knew Daddy loves me the most in the whole world!”
I patted her thigh. “Volume, little dictator.”
“Sorry,” she said, sounding not even remotely sorry, then turned back to the screen. “Does it have towers? Is it pink? Is there a bridge? A place for horses? A room for CEO Barbie?”
