He slowly released the fumes, staring into his glass of whiskey that had remained in his hands. His mind was all jungled up. He felt there was something he had missed. Having wiped out the Scorpions, he had thought he would have done away with the only thorn in his flesh, but he had been utterly wrong. His special team had retrieved a footage from the Scorpion's mansion. None of the guys had gone out for an operation. Scorpion himself had been in his mansion amusing himself with different women for about a week now. From one of the images Scorpion had dedicated the whole month free if any activity, in memory of his late aunt who had died about a year ago.

“Haha! He got jokes! Let's see if you will find this funny after I, scorpion, make you lose a tooth or all of them.” Letting out a sigh, Rome slightly drew his left foot behind, balanced himself, and said, “Let's dance.” While gazing at the monitor, Brook’s jaw hung loose, Scar’s eyes widened, and Blaze stared blankly at the screen as they watched Rome beat up all five men without getting hit once. Spitting his teeth on the ground, Scorpion stared at all four of them, laying in the bloody dirty before gazing at Rome with fear in his eyes. “Who are you?” Scorpion cried out.

“You never had a girl with hair darker than honey blond. Isn’t that a sign?! Hey, don’t you think-” He stops as I interrupt him. “Dude, did something happen with the red head?” As he doesn’t speak after nodding slowly, I interrupt his panicky eye movement. Is he on some kind of trip? “Who cares. I never had such a connection with someone. Pinch me, maybe I got bewitched by this stupid mask-thing too.” I grin widely at him, and he stares. “Are you sure you’re alright?” He increases his nodding-frequency and I fear he will shake off his face by doing it.

Taylor assured her and he watch pitifully as his twin sister nodded her head but she was still frightened. Scorpion’s eyes beamed in amusement as he watch the kids, then he said, trying to shatter their little tiny hopes of Jesus coming. “Jesus is not gonna save you guys, and no one else will too.” He laughed menacingly at them, enjoying the horrific expression now on their faces. Hence Scorpion turned to face his men and he signal to them with his head, ordering them, “Let us go!” The men all left the room, leaving the kids in the dark as they cower in immense fear and hunger.

I paused in my steps as I watched two masked men step out of the vehicle. “Who are you people?” I asked with a frown but then my gaze landed on their sleeve and my heart began thudding violently against my chest when I spotted the scorpion tattoo on their arms. I recognized that tattoo anywhere as it was a symbol for the The Scorpio Clan, the most dangerous and notorious Mafia clan yet to be apprehended by the cops. They have eyes and ears everywhere and getting rid of someone was a piece of cake for them but that's not what terrified me the most.

“TEN! Winner—Remy Anderson!” The crowd erupts. Claude releases him immediately. Steps back. I shift to human form. Breathing hard but not exhausted. Joric shifts too. Slower. His leg is bleeding slightly where I bit him. I offer him my hand. “Good fight.” He stares at it. Then slaps it away. “This isn’t over,” he mutters. “Yes it is. You lost. Accept it.” His eyes go to the crowd. Searching. He finds Rhea sitting next to Prince Ryker.

My grip tightens on the phone. No. No, no, no. My heart slams against my ribs, my pulse roaring in my ears. I watch him—Ghost—standing in that fucking room, his hands shaking, desperation clear in his eyes. He wasn’t pleading for our lives. He was trying to undo what he did. “Why should we believe you?” the masked man asks. Ghost lets out a bitter, humorless laugh. “How else would I know the name? Come on, why do you think I told that idiot to stop?” His hands clench at his sides, his whole body tense. “Just take the three million and let us go.”

She glanced up at him, her voice a dry rasp. “It's not drugged.” he said as if he was already bored of her. He pulled off his mask and tossed it aside. His hair was blonde and cropped short to his skull. He had a jagged scar that ran from the bottom of his nose to the top of his lips. He looked more dangerous with it. “Wh-where is Miss Diana? The woman you took from the house with me… is she here? Please, I just need to know… ” The man’s expression didn’t change. “Drink. Don’t ask questions.”

Her hands were shaking so much, she wasn't applying the right pressure. "Here, let me" I said and she handed me the bloodied piece of clothe. The bleeding finally stopped, Red opened his eyes. "We have to leave right now. He's obviously in no condition to fight" Vanessa said. "It's too late for that" Red said, sitting up with a wince. "What? What do you mean?" Axel asked. "Today is Scorpion eye's twentieth anniversary. Skull's initial plan was to kill me in front of his men during their celebration. The exits are locked. There's no escaping this" Red replied.
