His mask, her revenge

His mask, her revenge

The thought of it made her scoff, she must have looked pathetic all these years. Without saying anything, she collected the glass from Melisa and chugged down the whole content of the glass. After that she forced herself to stand up, blood still dripping from her body. “This is the end of you, my dear friend” “I hope…” the words hung in Martina’s throat as she felt a sharp pain in her chest. “Did I tell you?” Hardin couldn’t contain his excitement as he began to talk, “those were not only abortion pills, I don’t want you coming back to haunt us”

Why the moon roars

Why the moon roars

“It's okay. I'm not mad, Baekalis.” I held a breath, watching as Cyrus exhaled deeply before his hands left me completely, reaching up to his mask to take it off. This one had a zip behind, so he rolled the zip down and let it fall from his face and, oh my, I was going to die tonight. Stephen was handsome, Clyde was pretty. But Cyrus? Cyrus was after my life. I accessed his face like it was the first time I was seeing him, and technically, it actually was. And as my gaze trailed for his eyes downward, I took in the scar that went across his nose, trailing further down to just the space directly beside his mouth.

Dumped My Unloyal Alpha

Dumped My Unloyal Alpha

“He was precise.” Mom didn’t 'bombard' us. She slammed the silver vial onto the table, the glass ringing. “Name him, Angie. Right now. If someone got close enough to graft a leech in the middle of a skirmish, they didn't just 'push' you. They already track you all along.” “I didn’t get a name. He was masked,” I said, my voice shaking as the adrenaline ebbed. “But he moved like one of us. Too fast for a human, but his scent was… dead. Like wet ash.”

Arden: Risen Warrior Volumes 1-3

Arden: Risen Warrior Volumes 1-3

He stood back up, holding his back. "Yeah, that's going to hurt for the next couple days. And now I don't have a weapon." he clenched his fists tightly “You're better than this. Concentrate, find its weakness.” The scorpion turned around and screeched at Rainer. It raised its claws and bashed them into the ground, causing the ground to break around the claws. "Well I guess I have one shot at this. It’s do or die!" said Rainer with confidence. The Scorpion let out one more loud screech and charged at Rainer. Rainer dodged to the side and pulled the sword from the scorpions back. The scorpion hit the wall and screeched.

Thee And Me

Thee And Me

Sir M walked forward and peeled the doors back, his large form obscuring the man's view of the product he was about to purchase. Sir M pulled the person out and stepped aside, his gaze attempting to gauge the buyer's reaction. The masked man slowly approached Esperus- its dirt-caked hair and shivering skin. Not a circus freak, not some strange, exotic animal- a human being. He walked behind and spotted a strange mark on its skin, and upon lifting up its hair, found two zig-zaging white scars that decent down its back. Beneath the scars was a deep pressed mark, a sort of family crest. He walked back towards Sir M, his face trained solely on the product and nothing else.

My Sweet Revenge Against The Mafia Boss

My Sweet Revenge Against The Mafia Boss

“Is there some kind of bounty on my head I don’t know about? Are you here to kill me and collect?” The man laughed again, shaking his head slowly. “Kill you? No, no. If I wanted you dead, you wouldn’t be breathing right now. You’re here so you don't get in my way again.” He took a step closer, and I could see the scar running down the side of his jaw, peeking out from the mask. That scar… I was certain I had seen it somewhere before “The Reaper,” he spat the name like rat poison, “ripped me of everything I ever had. He left me broken and homeless. I was alone. Do you know what it’s like to sleep in cold dark alleys for years? To fight dogs for scraps of food?”

GHOSTLY ENCOUNTERS

GHOSTLY ENCOUNTERS

The scorpion hissed and used its pincers to grasp him; then, it arched its tail over his body and drove its stinger into his arm, and injected him with its venom so much that Logan screamed out in pain. He tried standing but fell. "Why are you doing this Scorpio?" He sobbed. "You challenged me male and I'll make you pay!" The scorpion barked. Logan closed his eyes and thunder rumbled. "I'll kill you" he growled and raised his hand to strike it with his power but suddenly stopped when he remembered the words of Alexia. "Is your powers disappointing you?" The scorpion teased. It raised its tail to sting him once more but Logan brought out a little dagger from his cloak and sliced it off.

ALPHA KING OF DEMONS

ALPHA KING OF DEMONS

She chuckled nervously as she called. "Alex?" Her senses became active and she knew, something was off. Either with Alex or with her but before she could think, she felt someone press something hard to her nose. She tried fighting back but it was so strong. Scorpion liquor. She thought. The only chloroform strong enough to black out a Wolf. She leaned against the owner of the hand and before she passed out, she noticed the person's chest wasn't a chest but a bosom.

EX'S REGRETS; Desired By Two Alphas After Rejection

EX'S REGRETS; Desired By Two Alphas After Rejection

One of them caught me off guard, slashing my arm with claws as sharp as knives. Pain flared, but I ignored it, focusing only on Ember. She was still struggling, her voice hoarse from screaming. I had to get to her. I noticed a tattoo on one of the men’s necks—a scorpion. I’d seen that symbol before, but before I could figure out where, he slipped from my grip, disappearing into the dark. I turned toward the man holding Ember. He had his claws pressed against her throat, a cruel smile stretching across his masked face. Ember’s eyes met mine, desperate, pleading.

Captive Of The Count

Captive Of The Count

He must have paid them a great deal of money for this. He raised his right hand, signaling at them and they withdrew their weapons backing off. Even the other women did as he bid and they moved away creating some sense of privacy. "Hi, grump." I smiled at him and he didn't even blink, "The hair suits you, and damn! You got the scar right, the mask, and a dummy of Terren's bleeding head. It smells like real blood." I reached my hands up again managing to get them to his face. My forefinger poked out and I moved to touch the scar.

Love this book! Will their be a book 3 in this series? I sure hope to find out how things will continue to work out for all the characters (I don’t want to give details so not to spoil things for new readers)

This book is a sequel to “The Alpha King’s Rejected Mate” and should be read after the first book. Plot was very interesting and the enemies to lovers vibe was super intense! The book could use proofreading, but overall a great story with a HEA! :)
