Naomi told me everything, how you befriended her and the fact that you admitting drugging her." He yelled angrily. "You believe that whore over me?" Scott pointed to the seat next to Cameron and I took it without hesitation. Mr. Scott was a man in his early fifties with salt and pepper hair cut short to his scalp and a huge built. I think he was well over six feet tall, much the same height as Cameron and his skin was a dark caramel. Overall, he was a very intimidating person that no one wanted to mess with. Hopefully, I hadn’t done anything to get on his bad side either. “I-is this a-about Mr. A-Agnes?” I managed to stutter out past the lump in my throat.

"She's out here on a huge campus alone at night. Making jokes about her having a stalker after you left her in the dark is messed up." I paused near the hallway door, clutching my bag tightly as I watched Scott pull his heavy hockey gloves off. His face looked completely unbothered as he wiped sweat from his forehead, looking Adam dead in the eye. "Don't rain on my parade, Adam," Scott said flatly, his voice totally devoid of any emotion. "She wanted to ask stupid questions, so she gets stupid answers." I pushed through the heavy door and stepped into the quiet hallway, letting it swing shut behind me. Bree was right. Scott really is a caveman.

Miles asked coolly. Scott opened his mouth, lips trembling, but no words came out. He looked like he'd been dealt a mortal blow. "Mia, you really…" He trailed off. Whatever he was trying to say, it got stuck in his throat, replaced only by the anguish in his eyes. Miles stepped in front of me, shielding me with his tall frame. The air around him turned icy, and his glare cut like a knife. But Scott didn't seem to notice. He reached out his arm, revealing rows of deep, overlapping scars.

It’s then that we see two headlights heading our way. The car comes to stop about 15 feet from us and out come two human police detectives. One them I know. Scott Buckingham, a good-looking guy (well, good-looking as far as humans go) with deep brown eyes and light brown hair that always looks like he has bed head. Add to that his slightly crooked smile that shows off his perfectly arranged, white teeth and he has the kind of easy, all-American boy good looks that you’d expect to find in a movie about a high school football team. Except he’s no longer a high school student, instead he’s actually my age. The other guy, shorter and stockier than Scott but cute in his own way with reddish-brown

He groaned inaudibly. " So... Will you help me?" Thoma stared at Scarlett, a frown on his face. " I'm not doing this for you." He stated before furrowing his brows in thought. " What is it you want me to do?" He asked. Scarlett let out a sigh, smiling for the first time since she stepped foot into that house. " I want you to to create a scandal. One so big, neither of them will be able to get out without my help." She replied.
