My Mate Rejected Me For His Girlfriend

My Mate Rejected Me For His Girlfriend

Subject designated for Memory Protocol 7 and civilian integration due to psychological instability concerns and Incident 17-B. *NOTE: Subject's genetic modifications remain active and transmissible to offspring. Monitoring to continue indefinitely. Re-acquisition may be necessary in future containment scenarios.* They didn't care if I had love or kids they wanted weapons. "Incident 17-B," I repeated aloud, searching the document for references to what this might have been. Several pages later, I found it, a heavily redacted entry with only fragments visible:

Field Team 42: Paranormal Responders

Field Team 42: Paranormal Responders

The other was a tall man with the permanent scowl of someone who'd once been a bureaucrat and now had to carry a gun. The woman introduced herself as Marta Sánchez, formerly Control Acquisition Division. The man, DeWitt, didn’t give a first name. Marta pulled a tarp off a metal cart. What lay beneath looked like a human brain, roughly basketball-sized, mounted on a mess of tentacles and chitinous limbs. It had no eyes, but ridges across its central mass pulsed faintly, as if registering light. "Meet the enemy," Marta said. "This is a dead one. We think. Don’t poke it."

Married To My Husband's Sworn Enemy

Married To My Husband's Sworn Enemy

No name. Just a velvet box with a thumb drive inside. She stared at it. And slowly—slowly—inserted it into her laptop. A video began to play. Fuzzy at first. Then clear. It was a man’s voice: “Asset 02-27-B. Subject shows exceptional memory retention and elevated spatial reasoning. We recommend placement under secondary family cover until Phase Three.” A woman’s voice interrupted. “She’s too young.” “But if we don’t move her now, they’ll find her. Claire already suspects.”

The Alpha’s Dirty Little Secret

The Alpha’s Dirty Little Secret

Then another. "It’s not the Mother," Malakai whispered. His knuckles turned white. "Then who is it?" The terminal doors at the far end of the station creaked open. A man in a clean, white lab coat stepped through. He wasn't a wolf. He wasn't a hybrid. He was holding a remote detonator. "Subject 7B," the man said. His voice was projected through the station’s PA system. "The test period is over. Please step away from the civilian and return to your containment unit."

Four Heirs Claimed On My Babies

Four Heirs Claimed On My Babies

*Test subjects. Aleksandr stepped forward, studying the nearest chamber. The label read: SUBJECT 017 – STATUS: ACTIVE Suddenly, the figure’s eyes snapped open. A sharp alarm blared through the lab. Elena’s heart pounded. “We need to move, now.” Hydra’s Trap Above ground, Dante and Luca had infiltrated the facility’s control center. Screens flickered with security feeds—guards mobilizing, alarms flashing red. Luca swore. “They knew we were coming.”

BETRAYED BY HER BLOOD, CLAIMED BY THE NIGHT

BETRAYED BY HER BLOOD, CLAIMED BY THE NIGHT

The creature didn't scream; it hissed, its orange core flaring as it tried to stabilize. "That’s for Phuwin, you glowing bastard!" Somito roared, bringing the mace down again and again until the orange light flickered and died, leaving only a pile of cooling, amber slush on the floor. "You really need to work on your stealth, old man," Zilo said, rushing to the terminal and his fingers flying across the keys. "Okay, I’ve got the bypass. Cell 402. Restricted access. It says... 'Subject: Pilot. Status: Integration Complete.'"

THE BILLIONAIRE'S BROKEN HEIR

THE BILLIONAIRE'S BROKEN HEIR

Scarlett clicked open the full file. The terminal whirred softly. A new document appeared. Transfer Notes Confidential Her eyes scanned the text. Subject Seven demonstrates exceptional early cognitive response and adaptive emotional resilience. The maternal guardian insists transfer is necessary for long-term protection. Protection. Her breath caught. Protection from what? Dominic leaned closer. "There's another page." Scarlett opened it. A recorded voice file blinked on the screen. Her heart slammed against her ribs. The date was fifteen years old. Her trembling finger pressed play.

RUTHLESS BILLIONAIRE EX-HUSBAND CHASED ME BACK

RUTHLESS BILLIONAIRE EX-HUSBAND CHASED ME BACK

"Check the safe behind Voss's portrait. It's... it's all there." Jeff's jaw tightened. "Trap." I was already moving. The portrait hung crookedly near the DNA sequencer—a younger Voss smirking beside a bassinet. The safe behind it opened with Nolan's keycode. Inside lay a single vial of blood and a leather-bound journal. The label on the vial read: Original Source - Daniela Perez. The journal fell open to a dog-eared page: *"The child resists the modifications. Her cellular structure rejects the enhancements. We must terminate and begin again with Subject D-29."*

Matthew replied, "Every information network in the facility can only be accessed by local channels here!" They finally reached a section of pods with a Label Y. They both looked up and saw the subject Y-23T2 still unconscious within. The same dark skin human-looking fiend who caused major chaos some days ago, laying on the other side of the barrier. Matthew dabbed on his watch. Several panels of information manifested in front of him, all with Yaksha's information on it. He also clicked on the button beside the pod until a woman's figure manifested in front of them. Her features and movement were too mechanical to be a human's.

Still coming along nicely. The Archie plot has hot a good point. I feel there is more to come with Rain in the story and I like that. It is good to acknowledge the news spread of his accomplishments beating down Archie, but I would shorten the side conversations of the random people.

I'm honestly surprised that this story doesn't have more views and reviews. It's well-written, moves at a relaxing pace and the author did an amazing job with the descriptions. The characters has great depth, personalities that stand out. It is also clean and well-edited.
