Claimed by The Rogue Alpha

“O’Hara.” “Yes, sir,” a lady on crew cut answered. ”Can you tell me how much you’re paid monthly?” “Sir?” “God dammit!” I slammed my fist on the table, making the items on it to shake. “Can you all behave like the professionals you claimed to be on your CV and stop with the moronic acts? Tell me how much you get as salary!” Trying to gain composure, she said, “a hundred and fifty grand.” “Did you all hear her? One hundred and fifty bloody thousand dollars. No single one of you earn less than a hundred, a month. So, can someone tell me why my company is on the verge of getting liquidated?”

A Love That Shouldn't Be

A Love That Shouldn't Be

She jumped off his lap and went over to the table, a mischievous smile on her face. "Tonight, I thought you would like to go eat somewhere, there's a wonderful seafood restaurant not too far away, easily in walking distance." Sarah's eyes lit up. Seafood was her absolute favorite, something you couldn't easily get in the middle of Texas, unless you counted Red Lobster, which she usually didn't. Sarah looked like she would tackle him and start going at it right there and then, but she contained her excitement. She absolutely adored seafood, and she was determined to pay her brother back for taking the helm and planning every detail of their vacation.

Born to be Spoiled

Born to be Spoiled

Granny Gill froze at the seafood on the table and hurriedly asked, "who gave them to you?" "It's Stephen. He said that he was invited to a dinner and packed them for us. " Olivia couldn't help laughing when she reacted. Stephen must be a little embarrassed that she had sent him food a few times before, but he didn't have any money at the moment. He was still a poor young man. After a seafood meal, he wanted to pack up some delicious food and send it to them. Salt and pepper mantis shrimp was not cheap now, not to mention lobster and abalone.

Ma'am, the World Is Waiting for Your Divorce

Jocelyn then glanced at Jaden, "Excuse me, what's your name?" Before Jaden could answer the question, Josh interjected, "This is Mr. Jaden Henderson. I bet you've all heard of him. He owns the Seafood Market in Mauve City! And he owns a chain of seafood restaurants in the City!" Jocelyn gave a contempt look and responded, "Jaden Henderson? Sorry, I’ve never heard of this name!" Jaden was surprised that Jocelyn and Mimi didn't show him any respect after learning his name.

Living With My Lady Boss

Living With My Lady Boss

Sometimes they would even be lucky enough to find pearls in the clams, which would be worth a few days of wages. "Sir," said Wilbur. "I heard that the seafood in Wendis is some of the best out there, and a day of harvesting can get me a regular wage. Is that true?" The innkeeper blinked but nodded his head. "Yes, you're right. However, it takes a lot of hard work to be good at the job. You need to get up real early, and it's also very hard on one's back. It's not a suitable job for the weak."

Fires Within Fires

Fires Within Fires

I don’t want us to be in the spotlight. We grabbed some lunch on the way. Astakomakaronada was the dish I tried at a restaurant. Because there is a beach nearby, seafood is in high demand. The pasta sauce enriched with wine and along with lobster meat gave a perfect flavor. “So, castor did you like the food?” He seems like a good man. We have hundreds and thousands of people working under us so we can not get to know each man personally. Their salaries go from our pocket but not from our hands. Jonas must know him better.

Not Your Typical Love Story

Not Your Typical Love Story

“If you wish to have lunch with her, let’s have it this way. We’ll go to The Best Damn Thing. My treat.” Myra’s eyes almost fell from their sockets. The venue he had just mentioned was the most pricey seafood restaurant in the entire city. There was no way she could even afford it, even with the huge allowance her father had given her, let alone Hart. The place charged diamonds for the freshest and tastiest seafood she had ever eaten.

PICTURE OF YOU

PICTURE OF YOU

" Ma'am Celeste asked. I nodded. Come, both of you, join our table. Hesitantly, Matthew and I went to their table and stood before them. "Sit down. " Sir Patrick said. Matthew and I timidly occupied the seat in front of them. "We are the owner of this seafood restaurant? And if you want to work here, you can start tomorrow if you wish. " "Really, Ma'am? " "Yes, the restaurant badly needs a server. " "Okay, I'll start by tomorrow. " I enthusiastically said. "You won't ask about your salary. " She smiled. "As long as I have a salary at the end of the week, I don't mind. I want to help Matthew with our expenses."

Knight in Shining Suit

Knight in Shining Suit

The menu had lots of variety. “How do you find the food?” Ryder asked me. I smiled at him. “Wonderful!” I said. “You have a Japanese cook?” He nodded. “The best in the city.” “I wonder how much you pay him.” When he gave me a ballpark figure, I almost choked. His chef was being paid about five times the salary that Adam gave me. “That much?” “Well, we’re generous with our employees. Without them, our business would not be this good.” “That’s a great business practice,” Mr. Hughes said. “I wish all companies were like that.”

K.O.K.A.K
I love the concept of the chapter titles. The author is smart to tell the tale of the ever after of the couple;the author didn’t stop when Ryder regained his memory & they were back into each others arms. This is the 2nd time I read this story & it never fails to make me believe in everlasting love.
