The salty sea wind picks up her hair and plays with it. The wind... Keith breathes it in deeply, all the way to the very edge, squinting in the sunlight. The sea is blue, beautiful, with a groan it breaks on the rocks far below, under the lighthouse tower, turning into snow-white foam. Seagulls scream. Curly white clouds float across the pale blue sky. She is free… Free! Hastily looking around and seeing below the road leading from the lighthouse deep into the island, Keith descends. The door groans, but withstands the pressure.

” Bobby shook his head. “I love eating seafood especially ‘fleur de la mer’.” It made the boys laughed. “Too bad, the first point will be for the boys. It will be either Carter or Lowell. You may step forward if you are that I’m describing about.” The blonde hair tall man stepped his feet forward. He flexed his biceps. “Carter, we never know that it’s you?” Carter snatched the microphone from Eriana. “Yeah, and eating shrimps will let me rush to the hospital.”

I pick up a little pale yellow looking flower and sniff it before I lick it and the taste of salt and sweetness hits my taste buds. “That is sweet and salty popcorn. Try it.” I look at him with a raised eyebrow and I place it in my mouth and chew it slowly. The texture is strange. It is soft but parts are hard. It melts on my tongue. I hum at it and eat another one. “See, nice.” He reaches over and takes a handful, but I move the bowl away and hiss at him when he laughs at my possessiveness. That hasn’t changed. I like this human food, I have vowed to not eat fish. I will do my part so I don’t feel as guilty for my people.

I muttered, turning toward the broken archway, “if I have to be tethered to someone, why did it have to be you?” Behind me, he followed with a chuckle, steps falling into rhythm beside mine. “I ask myself the same thing every hour, Flame.” And yet neither of us slowed. Sir Flinn wore his floater while Miss Mia is reminding us not to drink the seawater since it's bad for our body. We went to the deeper part of the beach making Sir Flinn hold tightly to his floater. “The water is getting colder.” Tim uttered and his lips are trembling and his face is turning red from the heat of the sun.
