"Do you want me to get you some food in the cafeteria Miss?" Sofia just shake her head for a no.She wasn't hungry more like she just wants this all to be done because she still needs to find a way to find that guy. After talking to the two nurse in-charge at the infirmary she finally goes home .The earliest ever! She thought that that was the only first time in that day but then she found her mom reading something at the couch looking as regal as before with her jewelries and her Emerald green not that fitted dress.

Esteban says and then leaves. Sofia runs to the knocking door and tries to open it, but it is impossible. "This isn't fair, Esteban, I'm not a defenseless animal that you should protect and keep locked up! It's not fair!" shouts Sofia in annoyance. Shots ring out and she as best she can runs to the window where she sees the two people she loves, climbing into the car where they drive off towards the source of the problem. From her room, she watches as they defend the place with their perfectly coordinated and ruthless men.

Chapter 9: Privacy Sofia's POV "Who are you? This is the first time I've seen you here?" Obviously, because I just got here. I took a deep breath, stood upright, and confidently looked at them. I didn't want them to belittle me on my first day of work. I lost my job last time because of a crazy customer. I remember that incident again. It's making my blood boil. "I'm Sofia Sanders, Mr. Marcus Sterling's assistant," I confidently said. They both stared in disbelief. It seemed like they couldn't believe it.

Chapter One Hundred and One: Cracks in the Foundation Sofia stood on the terrace, the cold wind biting at her skin. She didn’t feel it. All she could feel was the suffocating pressure in her chest. Damon’s name had resurfaced like a ghost from the darkest part of her past, and now that ghost was trying to destroy everything she had with Aaron.

His gaze drifted toward the window, and the weight in the room thickened. “Sofie was neglected,” he began, his voice low. “She was taken out of her relatives’ home because they didn’t provide her with basic necessities. No food. No clean clothes. I first met her after her parents died. She was new in town, and I saw her in the park, sitting alone, watching the cars go by. She looked so lost.
