“Tomorrow.” I stared out the study window. A strange mixture of hope and frustration settled inside me. Because for the first time in weeks, we might actually be getting somewhere. And yet somehow, I had a feeling that finding Sofia was about to become much harder than either of us expected. End of Chapter 11

"Before anyone else gets here." Sofia stomped out of the kitchen and up the stairs. Angel felt bad. He didn't mind the way she looked, but he was glad the blouse would be gone. Just seeing it had brought back memories of holding and kissing Sarah for the first time. It was all too painful, and as much as he missed her, he was glad he wouldn't have to see her again. The time went by quickly, and before long, they were counting down. Angel was outside with Sal, Alex, and a couple of the girls. Sofia had gone inside with Eric and Romero to watch the countdown on the big television.

CHAPTER 2 Sofia's POV Today is the first day of school. I'm kind of excited because I haven't seen my friends and boyfriend all summer, though my boyfriend came to Paris during my mom’s fashion show. I woke up, took a shower and did my little makeup which is just eyeliner and mascara, as I sat in front of the mirror. I don't usually put on makeup during school days, I only put on makeup when I'm going out, not that I need it but I like to feel good about how I look.

she finished softly. There was silence, and then chaos erupted Sofia shrieked, vaulted out of her chair, and hurled herself at Valentina, arms around her neck. “Mommy! Really?” “Careful, amore,” I warned, reaching to hold them both. “Mommy has a baby in her stomach.” Sofia immediately let go and dropped to her knees, pressing both hands gently against Valentina’s still-flat belly. “Hi, baby,” she whispered, utterly serious. “Please be a girl. Boys are disgusting.”

Irene said heading to the door It was the same face she met the first day she had been into Antonio's office since Sofia started at her blankly “What are you doing here?”. Sofia asked Irene smiled back “ I _umm,I live here”. She responded “Is your boss in?”. Sofia asked letting herself in rudely She was dressed on her tight fitting gown that exposed her round curves Sofia was beautiful,she was tall, light brown skin and long black hairs “Sofia, nice to meet you,I wasn't expecting you”. Antonio said standing to offer her a seat

It wasn’t quite her best, but at least she didn’t look like a zombie anymore. Before leaving her room, Sofia closed her eyes, settling into her role as princess. It was the persona she used for TV interviews. Nothing was wrong. She had the perfect life. She had absolutely nothing to worry about. She met Tarah Sloan in the foyer. The petite brunette turned, giving Sofia a once over. She did not look impressed. But she did have a gleam in her eye that Sofia didn’t like. As if she knew something that Sofia didn’t. “Hello. How can I help you?” Sofia asked, keeping her voice steady, but on the inside she was screaming. She didn’t want to be in this mess anymore. She just wanted out.

Drina’s POV I met Sofia Cruz on a Tuesday morning, and from the first second, I knew she did not like me. She did not bother to hide it. Some people smile before they stab you. Sofia did not even smile. She looked at me the way one looks at a problem that should not exist. “So this is her,” she said, standing up from her chair slowly. Her voice was calm, sharp, and cold. “The thief who decided not to run.” I folded my arms and met her eyes. “And you must be Sofia. Dino’s brain.”

The head in the video laughs loudly and says, “The love of the Moreno family is always suicidal. Now decide, Lucas—will you save Sofia, or will that bio-bomb little Sofia explode in your arms?” I run toward little Sofia’s room, but before I reach the door, I see that little Sofia’s eyes have turned completely red. In a mechanical tone she begins to speak, “Target identified. Sofia Moreno… destruction sequence initiated. 10… 9… 8…”

" Big boss said. "Yes. Boss." Greg replied. Early in the morning... Sofia wakes up with a yawn. She sits up in bed and looks at Sarah who is sleeping in her own bed beside her. She continues staring at Sarah, wondering what it is that she is hiding from her. "Um, Sarah? Are you awake yet?" Sofia asked. Sofia gets no reply. Sofia stands up and moves towards Sarah. Sofia shakes Sarah. "Wake up." Sofia said softly.

Chapter 14: A shocking Discovery Sofia walked down the stairs, her eyes plastered with an evil grin. She seemed to be making a call as she headed to one of the parlour couches and sat down. “Oh, come on! I know what I’m doing,” she giggled into the phone. “You know, I’m so happy. Things are finally going our way,” she continued, her face etched with joy. “How much longer do I need to wait?” the receiver questioned, and Sofia giggled.
