“She won’t be home tonight. Or tomorrow. She’s usually out of town for a week or more, never less. I’m sure she’ll contact you once she came back so don’t worry, Xander.” I nodded and looked away. “You don’t look worried. You’re used to it?” Spencer chuckled too loud that it sounded like a laugh. My brow raised from the sarcasm mixed in it. “Oh, I always have someone to follow her around, you know.” That someone must be trustworthy that Spencer acts like everything will be okay, huh? “That’s a relief.” I sighed. “Yeah. Well,” he stood up and grabbed the bottle of whisky and poured another round to his own glass. “…now that you’re here. I’d like to talk with you.”

Maybe she found Sid Moreau as creepy as I did. “The rains took out a lot of our power grid yesterday, including some of our cameras. We got some spotty reception, but not nearly as much footage of your claiming as we’d like. I was hoping you might agree to stay behind for a few more hours to re-create the footage.” I frowned at him even as my heart leapt in my chest. “Spencer agreed to this?”

She was anxious. Serena’s words resonated in her ears. Xander Reid was away from country C all those years, and he came back last month. He had an accident upon arrival to country C and sustained a severe injury. The incident with Charles also occurred a month ago. When she put the two situations together, she began to suspect that Xander Reid could be Charles.

My breath hitched, and for a moment, we just stood there, the air between us thick with history. Spencer had been my friend, my confidant, the man who’d stood by me through the darkest days of my custody battle with Elliot. But he’d also loved me, fiercely and hopelessly, even when I couldn’t return it. His move to Chicago, his divorce from Roseanne, his persistence—it had all been for me, and I’d broken his heart by choosing Elliot. Apparently, he was too fascinated by the drag queens in his childhood. He admired them so much that he tried applying make-up once but ended up looking like a failed art experiment. Lorenzo will kill her but first we need answers. "Tell him to not kill her Spencer, I hear Sebastian say into his cell, we need answers to some questions ",he hangs up with a vicious growl and Jason speeds off heading home. A single, solitary dollar said that Sebastian Walter Murphy hasn't left yet because he's still trying to figure out where Rae grew the balls she did to tell him off. I mean, that's quite simple. Life made her tough. She had to grow up very quickly. She has to make these big decisions and then live with the consequences, good or bad. She has been beaten up. She endures a lot of shit, including all the shit Sebastian threw at her over the past ten years. She has to be strong when she shouldn't have to be. She should be allowed to be vulnerable, but the world told her she can't be because she has to be ruthless. Thatcher Spencer was ruthless. Rae Spencer has to be too.

It was a week before the Christmas break and the last week of classes when Spence decided to call for a band meeting one last time for the year 2007. He wanted us to finally settle the issues that have been plaguing The Decadence of The Fallen for the last several weeks. With the exception of JD, who I have been hanging out with along with Leslie these past weeks, I haven't really seen much of my other band mates as of late. I think I saw Spence once on my way to class and Warren, maybe twice, at a cafe but that was it. I exchanged pleasantries with them but it was brief and we usually were in a rush to go somewhere else. I guess it was better than not seeing them at all...like my situation

Mira nodded, "I see, that makes me feel so much better." "That reminds me," Tisha said. "how are you and Zeal? How is he able to survive with you so far away from him?" Mira pretended to smile and was about to answer Tisha's question when her phone rang. She checked and saw that it was from Spencer. "Pls excuse me," Tisha said before picking up the call. Spencer said in an anxious voice, "my love, I need your help, something serious has happened." Tisha's heart skipped two beats and she stood up immediately, "what is it, Spencer? Are you okay?"
