One the blacksmith had referred to as 'beautiful'. Next was the forging. Under the guidance of the blacksmith Sethlzaar spent the rest of the day shoveling coke into the furnace while the man hammered away at his work. The smoke threatened to choke Sethlzaar and the sound of the hammer against the anvil left him with a constant ringing in his ears.

She considered what had happened that day so long ago when she’d thought Ragnar was close on her trail and she’d found a smithy working at his anvil, his large, sinewy hands pumping the bellows to heat the fire. The sign hanging above the blacksmith’s shop in the Arizona town proudly advertised his skills: wrought iron work, horse shoeing, wagon fixing, wagon wheels, pulling teeth. But all she’d cared about was whether or not he could make bullets. Silver bullets.

Mira got out of the Jeep along with Griffin. “Miss Red, it was good to see you again,” The older man greeted her. To the others, he was just an old man working with the outlaws. To those who knew him, he was a well-known businessman. They called him ‘The Blacksmith’. Nobody knew his real background or real name. He designed, created, and supplied weapons—guns, bow and arrow, swords and anything that made it into a killing tool. He did this for the right price. Nobody did a free job anymore because everything was a business.

Ribs pressing against his skin like a washboard. The blacksmith was a one-eyed old man with a vicious temper who forged blades that never broke. Every soldier in the camp came to him for repairs. Rex crouched outside the smithy for three days, watching the old man work the iron. The metal in the furnace bloomed orange-red. Meanwhile, Rufus blinked his eyes like a lost puppy, although he’s more like a dog than a puppy. “I just find Kaiser’s hobby to be interesting that’s all. I mean, who else is a blacksmith in Maplewood high school?” Kaiser’s nose twitched. He then buffed his chest proudly and punched it as he bragged, “That’s right. I am Kaiser Conrad, the one and only blacksmith of Maplewood.”

He'd just pulled the piece of metal out of the fire and had it laid against a giant anvil. It was red hot and sparked with each strike of his hammer.

Hopping to her feet, Charlotte led the children outside and began touring them around the large city. "This shop here belongs to the best blacksmith there is, a reputation so famous that people from all over the empire come just to make a request!" Charlotte brought the children inside the store that exclusively sold weapons, which were out on display. The weapons displayed were arts of crafted beauty, decorated with gems and crystals, forged into existence using rare high-grade materials. The doorbell jingled, signaling the arrival of customers. Maria saw a broad, tall, muscular elf appear. The man carried more of masculine vibe than the regular gentle attractiveness seen in elves.

I pushed past the thick leather curtains of the primary foundry, the intense heat of the burning coal instantly warming my freezing skin as the smell of molten steel filled my lungs. Dozens of skilled blacksmiths were working diligently around the massive stone anvils, their muscular bodies covered in soot as they forged the defensive armor plates and the silver-tipped spears that our pack was famous for. I marched straight toward the center of the main workshop, my powerful aura immediately drawing the attention of the workers who quickly lowered their tools in deep respect.

A human look, the look of someone who was ready to argue with his fate. The blacksmith felt the familiar aura of the approaching sorcerer, straightened his back, put aside the sword blank, and instead took a heavy hammer in his hand. A difficult hammer, there was a special power in it, a slander made by a great-grandfather, driving away any evil spirits.
