Xavier rolled his eyes and let me out of his hug with a huff, asking Sebastian in a severe tone, “You heard so?”

Samantha's heart fluttered with anticipation. She had known that Alexander was interested in her, but she didn't know he was serious about making her his mate. "I can't," she said, shaking her head.
