His Serpent's Kiss
I surveyed the area, my instincts screaming at me to move, when I saw a familiar face aim a gun at me.
I dodged just in time and fired a shot, clean and without hesitation, through his left calf.
The man grunted and fell to his knees, still loading his gun. I swiftly moved to kick the gun out of his hand, pressing my pistol against his chin. Slowly, he looked up at me, eyes blazing.
“So,” I sneered. “You are Marcel. I’ve heard enough about you.”
His eyes lit up and he smirked knowingly.
“Have you? You must be Nero Vecchio then. Dante must have told you about me.”
