Our dirty little secret was wide open, and I never wanted it to end. But as I drifted toward sleep, my phone buzzed on the nightstand. Mom’s name flashed on the screen.

Abigail prayed she got the position because being a secretary to Damon who was the CEO would mean a lot. She could learn a lot from him and she was sure as hell that if she happened to resign over there, she wouldn't have to struggle for another job because of the good reference she would get from Damon Inc. So here she was, back in the city of London, the place that brought back so many memories. She hoped and prayed not to bump into any of the Williams, most especially Liam.

Angela shouted, closing the suitcase again and shoving it before Gilberd. "Especially Uncle. Uncle has no right to keep all this when the head of the family is already there, "cried Gilbert. "All of this is yours, Angela. So save it!" Dareen exclaimed. Angela looked at Regan, and Regan nodded his head. "The other wealth is in a secret room, which is the big vault of this family. And the key is with you, which is the symbol of the key to the Gonemanus family," Gilberd exclaimed.

Luna stood and was ready to attack anything that threatened Ruby. “I smell blood! Ruby you need to hide.” Luna pulled Ruby to the basement. Someone was banging on the door. **Haven** I finally made it to Ruby’s house. My house! They still have all of my stuff. My phone, my keys, everything! I have to tell her! “RUBY! I took my phone on the bed and marched out if the house. I know no where in Nigeria. The ladies in the reception were drooling as I walk pass. I board a taxi and entered. We made our way to the back of the house where the garden is located. The garden is really beautiful with different kinds of flowers planted in it. Lavenders, roses, daisies, dandelions and lots more that I can’t really see from here. ”Took you guys long enough. Where’s your boyfriend, McKenna?” Eric asked. ”He left.” I said before taking my seat next to Dixon. Eric pulled out a red envelope and showed to us. ”Found this on the table. Here you might want to read it.” He passed the letter to me and I immediately opened it.

There’s a proverb, “Curiosity kills the cat.” Despite Alex's refusal, she headed to that side. She couldn't stop her feet from striding towards the hall. There wasn't much light apart from a faint yellow light coming from an ornate lamp. Though it did look eerie. After taking some more steps she halted in her steps, as something caught her peripheral vision. There’s a door at the head of the hallway. While all the other doors were new, this one remained an old crafted dark wood door and it was locked. Whose room is it? And why is it locked unlike every other room around here? Through the side doors, we stepped into the night, the cold air wrapping around us. I took her to the secret garden hidden behind the mansion, a place untouched by the world’s chaos. The soft glow of lanterns flickered against the wooden trellises wrapped in thick vines, their leaves casting shifting shadows across the mossy stone path. Roses in shades of crimson and ivory bloomed in tangled clusters, their scent thick and intoxicating. The fountain at the center trickled softly, its water reflecting the stars.
