I had just finished journal 3 when I stopped. “What am I doing?” I whispered and dropped the journal, “No, no, no. Please no. Stop.” I dropped to my knees and started to collect all the pages. In a frantic hurry, I picked up each page as if they were about to fade away. Pages had landed everywhere. On the bed, behind the cupboard, under the tables, even in the bathroom. I picked up 575 pages. Each journal was a book of 192 pages… which meant one page was missing.

There were scattered books around it that was mostly from the forbidden section. Some of them were my favorites like the Princess of Nile, Glory for Gloria, and the The Dead Prince of the New Dynasty. All of them jumped as I jumped off my bed. I had nothing, but ways to kill an evil man from the stories, so I hid the books on the wooden floor. I walked out my room, and went straightly to the library to look for more inspirations from the great minds of the literature. I had been on a journey of self-discovery, a journey of healing and growth, and I had finally found what I was looking for. I wanted to be a writer. I wanted to write about my healing journey, about the struggles and the triumphs, about the darkness and the light. I wanted to share my story with others, to help them see that they were not alone, that there was hope and healing to be found.

With the pizzas finished and movies ended we both head to our own rooms calling it an early night. I grab my journal and a pen, and go to sit at the table in my room, writing about my day as it helps me to relax, I also let my wall down just slightly so I can’t hear Lila’s thoughts but the energy it takes from me lessens. I head into the bathroom and use the rainfall shower, my first time experiencing one of these and let’s just say I’m happy it isn’t my last time. I dry myself off, grab some comfy pj’s and get into bed. I put on some reality tv and before I know my eyes are closed. That was one hell of a day!

In the end, the inquisitive one won but first, I listened for footsteps and when I could make out none, I got off the bed and went for the book, flicking its first page open. The only person who could give me a book was Zena but it was also weird, what kind of book it was. It wasn’t the usual one we both read and enjoyed.
