Figures who manipulated reality from behind the scenes. I snorted softly. “This is ridiculous.” I refined the search and tried again. The same nonsense stared back at me. Closing it I turn around and a one word walking with three worded sentences fill my head, wow and what the what. Someone needs to learn boundaries…

It felt like when you miss a step on the stairs and your stomach jumps before your feet catch up. I didn’t react right away. I just stood there. The idea didn’t land properly. It hovered. Thin. Wrong. Like a sentence that didn’t finish. For a second, I honestly thought he was joking. Not because it was funny. But because it made no sense. I waited for him to add something. A correction.
