I have a feeling I'm not going to like what I'll find inside it. Taking the paper out of my pocket, I unfolded it carefully, not sure what I'm going to find inside. It was thick just like the one from her wheels yesterday had been, and it was covered in red slashes of colour like an amateur artist had a rough day in an art class. I read through the words scribbled on it and it was outright insane. It made no sense and it only went to confirm my assertion that whoever is doing this is outright crazy. I drew a seat and fell into it, taking my time to read it over and over again and it still made no sense.

Sometimes I think I might actually be insane. In the sense that maybe everything around me isn’t really happening but something so powerful is making it seem as is. I find myself shaking my head to move my thoughts around and scramble them. Then my head feels clear for a while but after that while my thoughts are different yet the same, but more revealing more sensitive or like I said, I might just be insane.

Despite the impossible things i had been asked to do, it still made some sense to me. But right now, it doesn't make any sense. It hurts me to admit it but i feel like a passanger in my own body. When does it all start to make sense? Greg keeps his eyes on me all through as i speak and when i'm done he shifts in his seat slightly. I wait for answer because i need one and finally he sighs. "When did it all stop making sense?" I blink at the question but he's waiting for an answer. "Yesterday. I just started feeling weird."

Couldn’t they just say what they actually needed to say? Why all the nonsense? What exactly were they trying to announce?

“Not really. Just feelings.” That got his attention. “Tell me about the feelings.” I hesitated. Not because I didn’t want to talk, but because I wasn’t sure how to explain it without sounding ridiculous. “They don’t make sense,” I said slowly. “They don’t connect to anything I remember.” “Feelings don’t always need context,” he replied. “Just go on.” I exhaled and leaned back. “Sometimes, I feel calm for no reason. And other times, I feel… tense. Like my body reacts before my mind can.”

She leaned back in the chair laughing, “Apparently the computer heard reptiles.” I fixed the word and kept listening to the audio playback. Jules leaned closer to the screen, pointing at another sentence, “This one sounds like Yoda wrote it.” I groaned, “Just fix it.” She deleted half the line and rewrote it with simple words. “You think too much,” she said casually. “You think too little.” “Yeah but my sentences work.”

“—none of this makes sense.” Something flickered in his eyes then, sharp and unreadable. He pushed away from the desk, closing the small distance between us. “It makes sense to me.” I almost laughed, but it came out brittle. “Really? Because from where I’m standing, it’s reckless. And unnecessary.”

The muffled voices within seemed distorted, a cacophony of sinister whispers and malevolent laughter. Straining to catch every word, Ethan's senses heightened, attuned to the disturbing symphony unfolding on the other side. Fragmented phrases and sinister tones intermingled, creating a chilling backdrop to the scene. He couldn't make out all the details, but the sense of danger and the urgency of the situation grew stronger with each passing moment.
