My Husband's Boss
Jayden explained, trying to show indifference, and the wrinkle of distrust between my husband’s eyebrows seemed to disappear.
Daon hugs me, smiling, and shrugs.
"What do you mean let? What a sexist thought. Are we in the Stone Age? I’m her husband, not her owner. She can wear whatever she wants. After all, anyone can look. That doesn’t change the fact that she’s my wife." Daon explains, joking and pointing to our rings.
"Yeah, Jayden, don’t be sexist, women are free to be vulgar," Louyse says in a mocking tone and a smile on her face. I see Daon giving her a reprimanding look, but he doesn’t correct her.
