Novel & Cerita Serafina And The Black Cloak Movie

Fierce. She was fighting even now. The camera panned, revealing Seraphina, sleek in black leather, her red lips curling in satisfaction. “Hello, darling,” she purred, her voice like silk over venom. “You’ve been so busy. So distracted. I thought I’d remind you what’s really at stake.” She dragged a knife slowly across Sophia’s collarbone—not cutting, but close enough to draw a hiss. Sophia didn’t cry out. She glared at the camera instead.

She wasn’t sure she had any night-out-appropriate attire but she did know she had a tiny black dress in the back of her closet as every girl does sometimes. She dug into her closet and got ready. ~ “Damn girl if you were into women, I’d take you home tonight.” Seraphina rolled her eyes at Talia as they walked into the bar. “Could you focus?” “I am focused. On you.” Seraphina looked at her. “You are impossible.” Talia grinned. “Yet you love me. Let’s get you your drinks.” “Thank you!” They found a table near the back. Seraphina ordered a drink and let her eyes wander across the room.

Seraphina caught sight of Serena in the mirror's reflection and turned to face her directly. "You're here. Glad you made it cause I must admit, I wasn't sure you'd accept my invitation," Seraphina said as the staff adjusted the corset of the beautiful dress she was trying on. Serena's expression was sharp as she responded, "What's this all about?" With a subtle wave of her hand, Seraphina signalled for the staff to step away, allowing for a more private conversation. She then walked over to a plush chair and settled into it, motioning for Serena to join her. Serena reluctantly took a seat across from her.

Lucien looked at her. “You know that voice?” Seraphina shook her head. “No.” But something inside her screamed that she did. The door opened slowly. A woman stepped into the room. She was perhaps thirty years old. Dark hair. Pale skin. Cold gray eyes. And on her wrist was the same Black Veil symbol. Seraphina stared at her. The woman smiled. “You finally remembered me.” Seraphina couldn’t speak. The woman looked at Lucien. “And you.” Her smile disappeared.

Of course she was. Stay away, I tried to send, but the words dissolved before they could reach her. Don't come for me. It's a trap. Footsteps echoed somewhere above me. A door creaked open, and harsh light spilled down stone stairs. I lifted my head. Seraphina Varen descended into the darkness like she owned it. She was dressed differently than the last time I'd seen her — no sharp suit, no political armor. Just a simple black dress that moved like water around her legs, her ink-black hair loose around her shoulders. She looked almost soft.

There were several warriors who surrounded the eastern gate, and Seraphina stood in between them dressed in a dark traveling cloak. Seraphina folded her hands across her chest, looking unshaken and unbothered despite the fact that she was surrounded by Blackthorne warriors. I took a few steps close to the window and the moment I sighted her, hatred slowly flowed through me, but I suddenly remembered all the memories we spent together as kids before she realized that her beauty gave her powers, before i became the discarded child of the family. I cleared my throat instinctively before I whispered, “I really need to talk to her”.

“It’s nothing yet.” “Please,” Fallon said, pouring coffee with a careless hand. “Nothing is just Hollywood’s word for a preemptive deal.” Serena didn’t respond. She could still see the clip of Seraphina’s breakdown replaying across every social feed she scrolled past. The carefully constructed goddess of cinema—the one who turned every close-up into myth—now looked small, human, undone. For a moment, Serena had wanted to reach through the screen and turn off the cameras for her.

"You still tried to poison Nova. Or so we thought. Care to explain that?" "I never poisoned anyone." Seraphina's voice was firm. "I have been watching Nova, yes. Following her at a distance. But I never got close enough to tamper with food or drink." "Then how do you explain the drugged maid?" Ken challenged. "She was found unconscious with Blackthorn roots in her pocket. Blackthorn from your territory." "My territory?" Seraphina looked genuinely confused. "And I told you, I have been observing from afar. I never interacted with the staff."

My breath caught in my throat. The camera was showing the dark interior of my office. Standing right in front of my desk was a lone, slender figure wrapped in a heavy black silk cloak. The hood was thrown back, revealing the pale, sharp features of SERAPHINA. She was holding a glowing silver flash drive, plugging it directly into my private terminal.

Mother sat elegantly across one of the velvet couches dressed in deep black silk, posture perfect as always. And opposite her— sat the parasite from the De Luca family. Serafina. She looked smaller than I remembered. Which was impressive considering she already looked half dead at the cathedral. A pale cream gown hung loosely around her thin frame while both hands rested nervously in her lap, fingers twisting together so tightly her knuckles had turned white. Her posture stiffened the second she noticed me. Like prey sensing a predator. Mother glanced up first. “Oh,” she said calmly. “You’re awake, Cenzo.”
