Serafina And The Black Cloak Movie の小説・ストーリー

Blurb Serafina Ferraro was born from an affair and raised like trash nobody wanted to throw out. Her stepmother hated her. Her sister mocked her. And Nico Caruso, the man she gave up everything for, drugged her and tried to sell her body to his boss. "You belong to me," Nico snarled, gripping her jaw. "You are like a stray dog. You bite, so you get smacked until you learn to sit still." Then a stranger kicked the door open. "I could have sworn I heard a damsel in distress," Dante Valentino said, calm as ice. He is not a hero. He is the illegitimate son of a powerful family, with his own war to fight. He does not save her out of kindness. "Do you want revenge?" he asked. She trains. Sh

“Do you think I have all night to wait on your incompetence? I said I wanted the midnight velvet, not this… this cheap drapery!” A second later, one of the maids came scampering out, holding the hem of Seraphina’s long black cloak. It was studded with glistening obsidian stones that shimmered like the night sky. As Seraphina stepped forward from the dressing room, she was a vision of lethal grace. Her hair, swept up into a twisted crown braid, sparkled with delicate crescent-moon pins. Her eyes—smoky and kohl-rimmed—pierced like fire through ice.

Figures emerged from the shadows. Witches….Dozens of them. Each wearing long black robes. Each staring at me without speaking. None of them moved.None of them attacked. They simply watched. A path slowly opened between them. And from the center walked a woman dressed entirely in black. Her silver hair flowed down her back. Her eyes glowed with quiet power. Seraphine. The leader of the Coven. She stopped only a few feet away from me. "So..."Her lips curved into a faint smile. "The mother finally comes to us."

I nodded, clearly unconvinced by whatever he meant. “I prepared for this,” Joe said. I shrugged. Then he added slowly, “I had Seraphina watched.” My lips parted for a moment. “Yes. And the clip is ready.” “What clip?” I asked. “Watch this.” I frowned as he walked from the other side of the couch to where I sat and turned the laptop screen to my view. The moment the footage loaded, all the air left my lungs. “Gracious God!” I whispered. Seraphina stepped out of her car, wearing a hood. She appeared nervous as she looked over her shoulder repeatedly before stepping out into the garage of the private clinic.

Seraphina arrived at Claridge's at four in the afternoon. She wore black. A simple sheath dress, low heels, a long coat. Her hair was in a low knot. She had told herself, when she dressed, that she was wearing black because it was practical. She had stopped telling herself that on the cab ride over and admitted, only to the inside of her own head, that black was the color she had chosen because she did not know how to dress for meeting one's mother for the first time.

"She needs to look presentable for the signing." "Let go of me!" Seraphina's voice cracked. "This is wrong—" Nobody answered. The maids stripped her clothes with brisk, impersonal hands. They forced her arms through the stiff lace of Clara's gown. The dress was too big at the waist, so they pulled the corset strings tight—so tight the boning dug into her ribs and stole the breath from her lungs. They pinned her hair back. They pressed a thick veil over her face. The room dissolved into grey shapes.

For him? Seraphina’s jaw clenched as she took the garments, her fingers tightening around the delicate fabric. Deep burgundy, sheer, barely more than a whisper of cloth. The top was nothing but a strip to tie around her neck and back. The skirt? Short. Slitted high on both sides. It was an outfit meant to be worn by someone who belonged here. “I— I can’t,” she murmured, voice unsteady. “It’s… too much.” The room fell silent.

The long black cloak she wore fluttered behind her like a shadow made of silk, and her smile was sharpened into a weapon. “Isn’t this adorable?” she drawled, tilting her head. “A secret little date in the woods. Fairy lights, wine, rose petals... My, my, my, Kaelion. Really? You never struck me as the romantic type. But this is beautiful, to be honest. Hahahaha,” she cackled. Seraphina turned slowly, forcing her expression to remain somewhat neutral—confused, with a hint of anger, maybe a bit startled. Kaelion, on the other hand, stiffened like he had been caught red-handed.

And standing at the front, draped in a deep purple cloak, was a woman with golden eyes. Aria froze. Seraphina. The Goddess of Darkness had arrived.

Then— "Going somewhere, princess?" A deep voice chills my spine. I whirl around. A tall man, cloaked in black, smirks at me. His golden eyes glow in the dim light. "Who the hell are you?" I demand, my fists clenching. "A friend. Or maybe an enemy. Depends on you." "Get out of my way." He tilts his head. "I can't do that." "Then you’ll regret it." He chuckles. "Oh, I like you. But let’s be real. You’re weak, Seraphina."
