“You’re mine. I’m yours. We’re not their prophecy—we’re our own.” The world shuddered. The chains binding Fenris rattled violently, cracks splitting across them. The First Howl snarled, its form flickering. Serena stood tall, her Onyx wolf rising beside her. Together they faced the titans. “I am not your heir,” she said. Her voice thundered across the realm. “And I am not your cage-breaker. I am Serena Vale. And I choose me.” Her wolf howled, violet and silver power twining together, forming a crown of flame and shadow above her head. The wasteland cracked open, swallowing everything in blinding light.

It was changing quickly. ***** Back inside Zelios, Sera finally returned to her room. She couldn't sleep. Again. Instead, she sat at her desk and opened the small notebook she carried on every mission. The pages were filled with observations, patrol routes and sketches of creatures Helios had encountered over the years. Tonight, she added a new heading. Questions- She stared at the page before writing. Why didn't Husen kill me? She paused. Then another. Why were those creatures hunting him?

“Give it up Sera, Joshua has awakened, you won’t be able to overpower him, you don’t want to admit it, but you clearly know who he is and you know that you won’t be able to fight him. You will be dead before you know it, even though he is unable to control his power now, you saw what he could do.” Sera laughed, she laughed as if she found Lia’s words funny, “Give it up? You must be joking, why do you think I have no tricks left up my sleeve? I still have the god! The one who will rise up and give me the whole world, I still have him!” Sera’s shrill scream echoed in the air and a loud roar rumbled in the air, trees shook and the earth trembled, as if they were scared of what was to come. “Yes

The training field grass was green and vibrant is now covered with blood and bodies of rebels. “WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU?” Orion spat venomously at Seris. “I am Seris, the wolfless.” Seris said as she sends him flying with a powerful kick. “Young Beta, you good?” Seris asked as she walked to the young Beta, who stared at her as if he were trying to decipher her thoughts. “Why didn't your team come earlier, I felt their presence when the traitor almost sent my head flying.”

Sera stopped a few feet from the desk. "I want to ask you one thing." Vael waited. His eyes stayed on her. Calm. Analytical. She stood straight in the center of the room. "Did you kill my mother or did you just make sure she had nowhere safe to run?" Vael did not answer right away. His eyes changed first. Something flickered there. Not guilt. Recognition. His mouth opened. Closed again. The silence stretched. I watched Sera's hands. They stayed loose at her sides. She waited.

“What do you mean? Who is watching?” “Agatha,” her mother interjected, her expression turning grave. “The High Priestess Agatha. She has been alive for over a thousand years, fueled by dark magic and a thirst for power. She senses your potential and will come for you. You must be cautious.” “But I want to fight back!” Aqua exclaimed, desperation threading through her words. “I don’t want to hide anymore. I need to know how to harness my powers.”

She mumbled words that could cause the enemies to kneel, burn, and experience tingling pain in their bodies as Emily exerted control over her power over them. Emily’s body was glowing, transforming into a moon goddess, wearing a white dress and a jeweled star on her forehead. “Morsus...” (Pain) “Combustum...” (Burn) “Interficio...” (Kill) Emily was saying those words, and slowly, the grunts and roars of the hunters and rouges were subsiding. Her eyes darted at the King and Queen of Rouges. Her eyes were dangerous and made her shudder.

I grabbed her throat and pinned her to the glass door. “Rapheal!” My mom screamed. “Where's Sera?” I growled. “What do you think you're doing?” “Who's.. Sera..” Delanxy stuttered, thrashing under my grip while gasping for air. It made me tighten my grip. “Where's the hell is Serafina?!!” Tears fell from her green eyes. “How.. am.. I .. supposed.. to ..know?” She stuttered. “You lying bitch!” I pushed her further, leading to the opening of the door.

I moved through the door. The scene stopped me. The back wall was cracked, wood splintered like something had exploded against it. Cassandra sat slumped beneath it, blood dripping from her nose. Elena was trying to approach someone, hands raised in a calming gesture, Other rogues crowded the doorway, their faces painted with fear and fascination. And in the center of it all was Sera. Silver light blazed around her like wildfire. Her eyes were pure silver, unseeing, lost. Her injured arm hung at her side, but her good hand was raised, power crackling between her fingers. She was shaking, her breath coming in short gasps.

Looked at Sera through the grey haze of my failing vision. "The sixth one. The leader. I can't dim his bond." I wiped the blood from my nose with the back of my hand. "He's going to keep coming. But the other five are scattered. Disoriented. He's alone." Sera stood. Her mother's blade caught the thin light filtering through the canopy. She was sixteen years old and her hands were steady and her eyes were the eyes of a girl who had listened to her mother die through a cellar floor and decided that fear was a luxury she could no longer afford.
