POV: Ronan Montague The iron gates of Moonrise Academy creaked open with a sound like old bones settling, and Ronan felt his wolf stir restlessly beneath his skin. The massive Gothic structure loomed ahead through the Washington mountain mist, all soaring towers and gargoyle-lined parapets that seemed designed to remind students they were entering something far beyond ordinary education.

•• Seleste’s POV ••• The iron gates of the Alpha Academy, the famous Ravenwood Academy loomed ahead, towering over me like steel sentinels. Everyone around me looked at me. Everyone was curious about who I was, but they all knew that a new student would be enrolled here today. It seemed to me that they were already expecting me.

Stetson was seated on the couch, his eyes fixed on the TV as he watched his favorite weekend series. It was the season finale, and he didn’t want to miss a single dialogue. “Come on, dude. Don’t make me panic, just tell her already. If she leaves this time, that will definitely be the end,” Stetson spoke to the screen as though the characters could hear him. He moved forward, putting his popcorn on the table. “Just say it!” he encouraged.

The academy rose like a fortress—obsidian and moonstone walls reaching skyward, runes carved deep and glowing. Students filled the courtyard—laughing, talking, existing freely—until our SUV doors opened. Silence snapped through the campus. Callum stepped out first, adjusting his cuff with calm indifference. Jaxon followed, slow, controlled, predator-sharp. Rory leaned against the SUV like he’d just arrived at a party he already owned. Seth rolled his shoulders, smirk easy and unbothered. And then… me.
