Seven Capital Sins Novels & Stories

"You must be familiar with the book of Proverbs then. There's a couple of verses there that I know like the back of my palm. They're like my everyday maxim. "There the Lord told us that there are six things he hates and seven are an abomination unto him; a proud look, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, a false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

I blurted and the way Shaun turned to look at me, I was certain he was confused. "For what?” "This is so wrong. I have an undivorced husband” I added, but he still had a confused look on his face. "It's a sin for a woman to cheat on her husband,” I said and that caused Shaun to scoff. “I don't know how this works, but isn't it a sin for a husband to lay his hand on his wife. Not just a sin but a crime” "That's different” "You are trying to say that for a woman to be happy is a sin?” he asked and I broke into tears.

Genad had already placed on the anti-device, and although he had turned into an angel, the darkness within him as a demon still ran loose, and with a place filled with holiness like the heavens he would probably be scorched the moment he entered. Just as expected, at their entrance they were screened by the seven beastly statues that represented the seven deadly sins. Due to the immense hate within his heart, Genad would have been found guilty of the sin of rage but because of the device, 60% of the scrutiny was passed, and for the remaining 40% he passed by tucking his hate deep within his heart.

He asked. William scoffed "Sins?" He asked and they were confused. Bishop Daimon answered him instead "yes, sins!" He paused walking forward "I saw the seven deadly sins!" He replied. William laughed walking pass the bishop "You know a lot bishop but this time, you're wrong." He said. Bishop Daimon was confused by William's conclusion about him "What does that suppose to mean?" He inquired. William stopped beside the bishop "It means you're mistaking the seven deadly sins with the Incessants. You're slightly right about them been seven but they aren't sins." He explained.

Even its parents died as a result of her selfishness. Second, the seventh commandment. It said "Do not commit adultery" but she claimed the man belonged to someone else. She ignored other people's feelings only to fill what she yearned for. Third, the eighth commandment. "Don't steal" was written there but she failed to do it. She robbed the dreams of a man, a wife, and a child. That was the reason why that person's life was ruined. Evil engulfed Lalaine's entire being because of her.

I said softly causing him to look over at me surprise on his features at my change in tone. "Real name is Kateus, also known as the sin of envy, due to jealous tendencies and grudges" I said taking a deep breath. "One of the main downfalls in humanity is the want for what others have making him one of the most dangerous sins because it doesn't matter who gets hurt in the process the only thing that is a priority is his own want to be better and higher then anything and everyone else around him" I said causing him to look almost ashamed.

She nodded and soon, they disappeared into the bottom of the cave, leaving the horses outside. ... And lastly, Belphegor, the sloth.

He winked. I had reached a point where I could not hit him with a vase or something. He was literally on top of my nerves. “I pray you rot in hell,” “Well, it seems like you’re rotting in my hell,” I hated this man’s nerves. No doubt he was an expert in manipulating innocents and his evilness must be the reason for such riches he had because he cared none about the people suffering because of him. “What do you mean?” I blatantly asked.
