AURELIA I looked around the small apartment Ariston brought me to. It was very quiet and plain. There were no triggering scents or anything to stir Xena and wake her. Ariston prioritized my safety. Nothing here felt like the pack house, but I didn't care. Not now. The warm woods, and thick carpets didn't matter to me. I preferred this peaceful, clean, modern place. I still wasn’t fully processing everything Ariston had told me. My head was too full and too empty at the same time.

Hackett said as I turned to look at Anthony. "Anthony, what did Mrs. Hackett say just now?" Anthony's gaze darkened slightly, but he still forced a smile. "She was just complimenting your looks." I shot him a bashful look while giggling softly. I decided to stay silent. Mrs. Hackett's house was pretty close to where we were. Ten minutes later, we arrived at her house. It was a tiny, rundown brick house. Mrs. Hackett had Anthony put the stuff in the eastern room. After that, she took my hand and pulled me into the kitchen while mumbling words of gratitude.

“Sean! If you’re not dead, open this door! It’s because of you that Perry Corporation is about to fall into an outsider’s hands. Stop playing dead!” His furious shouting and relentless kicks echoed through the entire villa, but the door remained stubbornly shut. The housekeeper, standing behind Felix, grew increasingly nervous. “Could something have happened to him, sir?” A cold feeling settled in Felix’s stomach, and his anger flared even more. “Then stop wasting time and get someone to break this door open!” “Yes, right away!” The housekeeper rushed off and soon returned with two maintenance workers carrying tools. No one has ever bought me anything without wanting anything in return. I mean I had to do the house chores to be able to live under my own father's roof.
