My Dark Desirable Wolf

My Dark Desirable Wolf

He may not show it outwardly, but I can feel it—rage radiating from every inch of him. “We’ve come too far to turn back now,” Shadow says, his voice steady, cold enough to raise goosebumps along my skin. The man smiles. But it’s not kindness—it’s a promise of ruin. “I knew it,” he murmurs, as if savoring the game. “I never wanted this to be easy. I want to watch you destroy yourselves for what you desire.” A spark of rage ignites in me. I won’t let them keep manipulating us like this—not after everything. But before I can speak, Shadow grabs my wrist, pulling me roughly toward him until our bodies collide.

THE SHADOW LUNA

THE SHADOW LUNA

Pain shot through every part of her body. The bond severing had been violent. Traumatic. It felt like someone had reached inside her chest and ripped out part of her soul. Because that's exactly what they'd done. Without a pack bond, she was vulnerable. Weak. Powerless. Just another rogue wolf that any pack could kill on sight. That any rogue could attack without consequences. That the world could swallow up without anyone caring or noticing. Lyra forced herself to stand. Her legs shook. Her vision blurred. Black spots danced at the edges. But she stayed upright through sheer stubbornness.

THE SHADOW OF A LUNA

THE SHADOW OF A LUNA

There were people talking around me, a little heckling because those vampires were assholes, but I blocked them all out. I concentrated on the book and nothing else and focused all my energy on the one thing and slowly I saw it raise from the ground. It was only moving slowly. A little bit at a time and I only got it a few inches off the ground at first before I dropped it. Some of the vampires laughed at me and I was getting pissed off with them. I raised my hand in their direction and I didn't care what happened. I let my emotions take over and a lightening bolt came out of my hand and they all needed to run out of the way when I did that.

She laughed, “well I know him, and I know you … and you are one in the same. You are both completely self destructive all while believing you are in complete control. You both want to live in the shadows, and help people on the down low. You’re not a monster, and neither is my husband even though that’s what he might believe. Scott is in the CIA and is so much like you it scares me. You guys could be twins, or you could be father and son. Give us a chance, I’m not saying we’re perfect but … I understand you because I understand Scott. He can help you, he can help you channel that rage. He can help you manage the monster because … he has one of his own. I see him in you, and it doesn’t scare

Loved this story. I wish their was a sequel. I wanted her with Fletch but Javi is just as amazing. Great story. Loved it talked about their hardships. Most importantly, for me, that she was a Black girl (biracial) trying to fit in and go through life.

Alpha Rejected By His Human Mate

Alpha Rejected By His Human Mate

The mysterious man curved his lips with his hand held out to Ann, "I said I know what happened to it." Ann ignored his hand: "Fine, what happened to it?" The man just sat there smiling at Ann with his hand held out. Ann sighed as she took his hand, watching him print a kiss on the back of her hand softly. "The name is Damon." The mysterious man grinned at Ann, "May I know your name?" "That's not important." Said Ann frustratedly, "So, Damon, could you help, or not?" Damon laughed, shaking his head: "The real question is, do you think you can get The Shadow out from your coven's tight watch?"

The Shadow Howlers

The Shadow Howlers

When the man began talking, it felt like he was covering her body in warm honey. "I must apologize to you. I'm Alpha Gunnar of The Shadow Howlers. My head warrior showed me evidence that you had been kidnapping humans. When I looked closer at the evidence, I couldn't determine if what he said was true, so I wanted to do more investigating. Omar?" Alpha Gunnar looked at the warriors, and the large one in front stepped forward, his neck bare in submission. "Yes, alpha." He answered in more of a growl. "Why have you set out to destroy this pack?" Gunnar asked. However, it wasn't Omar who answered.

Living With My Lady Boss

Living With My Lady Boss

He struggled with all his might, but the Shadow Man's hand was tightly clamped around his neck as if intent on strangling Wilbur to death. Just then, the dragon's head on Wilbur's back lit up once more. A powerful dragon aura took shape, letting out a howl of fury before snapping the gray Shadow Man's arm in half. The part of the Shadow Man that the dragon's tail struck turned into a fuzzy light that floated upward toward the band of green light. The gray Shadow Man stumbled backward as if sensing danger. The rest of the Shadow Men seemed shocked as well. Following that, several shadows gathered together. They joined hands, muttering strange chants as a silver pearl appeared on each of their

The Moon Shadow

I gazed at him in bewilderment, realizing that perhaps I never truly understood him. "I am your man, and you are my possession, understand?" He pressed me against the tree trunk, gripping my chin. "Why? Why me?" I shuddered with fear, my teeth chattering as I spoke. "Why?" He chuckled, "Better ask yourself. Look at yourself, you are so beautiful, so plump, so clean. Remember when I first saw you, I knew you were a diamond in the rough, wearing a tattered gray short sleeve and skinny jeans. Your full breasts and round buttocks made me horny, and I secretly swore I would take you to my bed. I dare say, any man in this pack would want to take you to his bed. I'm just one step ahead. Her blood could be an active agent to blow someone up or any non-living things and living things, for that matter. “How could we have missed it? We have read the book!” Smart smacked his head. Shadow laughed. Indeed, the book written by Wan had finished and the man had handed dozens of copies to everyone that was close to her. Naturally, these people received the gift. “I need to read the book.” All of them murmured in determination.

Frequently Asked Questions

I remember the buzz around 'The Shadow Man' when it was first announced. The book, written by Helen Fields, was released on February 4, 2021. It's a gripping psychological thriller that delves into the dark corners of the human mind, and it quickly became a favorite among fans of the genre. The story follows a serial killer who leaves no trace, making it a chilling and unforgettable read. The release date was highly anticipated, and it didn't disappoint, with many readers praising its intense plot and well-developed characters.

If you're into thrillers, this one is definitely worth checking out. The way Fields builds tension and keeps you guessing until the very end is masterful. I've seen it recommended in multiple book clubs and online communities, and it's often compared to works by authors like Karin Slaughter and Lisa Gardner. The release was perfectly timed for those looking for a winter read that sends shivers down your spine.
