"It's more water-efficient if we shower together. And besides, we've never done it in the bathroom before, right?" Xavier reckoned that they could do it in a new location that night. "I'm not doing it here. Get out," Quinn responded decisively. "Come on, Quinny! Why don't we give it a shot? You might end up enjoying it!" Xavier suggested seductively. Quinn was very adamant. "I told you I don't want to do it here." Even though they had already engaged in the most intimate acts, she drew the line at showering together.

Things that are running in their minds are beyond your imagination. I pushed the door lightly with my free hand and went inside. My lips curved into a smirk as soon as I saw the empty shower area. The prisoners have a choice. It's either to go to the box where they're free to do whatever they want or go to the shower to enjoy some good bath. Of course, they would rather choose the box. I'm the only one who's hygiene conscious in here. I scanned the area. There are five shower heads in both walls. There aren't any divisions. It's an open space. This is not good. One of the things I hate is showering with others.

The warm spray hit me, and I exhaled in relief. “You can shower first,” Adrian said behind me. I glanced over my shoulder. “We can shower together,” I blurted before my brain caught up. My cheeks warmed. “I mean, why waste water? There’s enough space for both of us.” The corners of his mouth curved in the faintest hint of amusement. “Save water, right?” A second later, he stepped in beside me. The shower wasn’t nearly as spacious as I’d thought. With him there, his height, his broad shoulders, his sheer presence, it felt smaller, almost intimate in a way I hadn’t prepared for.

Just her words make me hard again for her. Taking her hand, I help her into the shower stall. The shower is big enough it could fit six people in it with shower heads at different parts of the shower. I have no idea who needs a shower this big, but I was grateful for it. Stepping around Josie I grab the shampoo and after she wets her hair, I lather her hair up with shampoo that smells like her.

After starting it, she saw Shawn's conversation with Jessica on the screen again. Shawn: "Change of plans. We can't do it in the office tomorrow." Insatiable Jess: "What? I'm so disappointed." Shawn: "Don't be, babe. I'll take you to the rooftop. It'll be more exciting there." Insatiable Jess: "You're the best, babe." Shawn came out of the bathroom just as Noelle returned to the bedroom. "Your bath is ready, Elle. Go ahead and take a soak."

By evening the fabric clung in transparent patches and the decision to peel it off had felt less like a choice than a physical necessity. Shared showers had come first—two at a time under the single lukewarm spray, bodies carefully not quite touching, then touching “by accident,” then not moving away when the contact lingered. Soap ran over shoulders and lower backs. Hands that were supposed to be rinsing stayed longer than required on slick skin. The tension had nowhere to go in a cabin that small. Every brush of an arm against a breast, every steadying hand on a wet hip, added another degree to air that was already unbreathable.

He walked deeper into the steam. The shower room opened up around him, a long rectangle of tile and concrete with shower heads spaced along both walls. No dividers. No privacy. Just a communal space where men washed and went about their business, and the mist was thick enough now that Moon could only make out three figures, three bodies moving through the white haze, water running in sheets down shoulders and backs.

I said as I groaned and stretched. Both of us got out of bed and headed for the bathroom. It was not unusual for both of us to share the bathroom in the mornings. We agreed it saved valuable time so we could sleep a little longer. I took a leak then went over to the shower to warm it up. Kim finished using the toilet before stepping into the shower with me. We had a morning habit of washing each other's back before each of us would wash our other body parts. When our shower was finished we dried off and walked over to our separate sinks to do our personal grooming.

Their synchronicity was endearing and beautiful, especially when they were in good spirits and actually getting along instead of pretending to. Teasingly, I ventured, "When was the last time you all showered together?" The question was innocent enough, but it prompted a shared look and a moment of contemplation before they collectively shrugged. More innocent synchronicity they likely don't even notice. "I don't know. I guess it's been a while," Knox said, and they all agreed. The realization dawned on them in unison as the other two nodded. "But there are enough bathrooms in this place. We can all shower separately, no reason to make it weird."
