“What is it?” Jem didn’t waste time. His voice came out fast, too fast. “Is Dante alright?” There was a pause on the other end. Just long enough to mean something. Then Shark answered, carefully. “Yes. He’s fine. Everything is under control.” Jem sat forward instantly. “Don’t lie to me. I felt something. What happened?” Another pause. Shorter this time, but heavier. Shark exhaled slowly. “It was a minor episode.” Jem’s grip tightened on the phone. “What kind of episode?”

“You gave off some very mixed signals. Up until the night this little girl was conceived. And then after.” “Yeah, I’m still sorry—” “It’s okay, Arch,” I say quickly. We’ve moved past our issues with that. There’s no need to bring them up now. “Actually, Quinn,” he says slowly. “There’s a story behind that, and I want to tell it to you.” “I do like stories. Does it have a happy ending?” He smiles. “I’m going to ask you a question at the end, and what you say will determine that.”

Everything was worth it. Cut. Fade out. . .

I told her as I floated up. "My name's Lorelei." She introduced. "Nova." I told her. "Nova Boyd. Goodbye Lorelei." I swam off, following dad out of the exit. We swam in bubbles again as we swam outside of the border. We'd gotten what we needed and I was feeling really triumphant. That is until 3 large shadows crossed over us from above. Fu.ck, sharks.

Funfun kept on fighting until the whole sea was covered with It's blood. It poisoned the shark too. Stinging it over again till the shark was weakened by it's dangerous venom. Funfun won! The shark gave a painful hoot, let go of Funfun and swam away. Leaving Funfun to sink half dead to the bottom of the sea. It was weak, tired and exhausted. It knew it was going to die. But before it did, It swam to Cinderella. Hugged her protectively with it's tail, tucked her into it's big body then it stopped breathing.

Iris's eyes go large as sharks begin to circle them. Daniel- The blood. Iris- Shift back we are nothing but chum to these things. The sharks start to bite at them. Both huddle together. A smaller one bites Zaphyra’s leg, Series bites the shark's fin. A bigger shark dives and eats the dead small one. Zaphyra rips the fin off the largest, before tossing the now bleeding animal away from them. The scent of fresh blood drew most of the sharks away. Series takes out two more sharks before the rest swim away.

The waves of her voice scared the shark away as it feared for its life. She continued to take a bite out of the Sailors tissue and chewed a chunk of his intestines. It was foolish for the shark to reveal itself as if there would be leftovers or even space for its appetite. Once the Mermaids concluded their feeding they knew they’d have to discard the boat and hide the bones. The humans would not suspect they were responsible for a sunken sailboat and they’d get to resume their on-campus lives yet again as if nothing had happened.

They all have their own unique features so that we can tell them apart. Hazel's shark ends up vanishing but I am not quite done yet. I have a school of fish swim by and the dolphins take chase. The chase the fish and corral them before eating each of them. I watched a documentary on dolphins a few weeks ago out of curiosity and it sure paid off today. I managed to make one heck of an illusion using the elements.

The bloodstains float in the water, causing the sharks to gather around the cage to tear their bloody prey to pieces. Patrick heard Jake's voice again through the speakers embedded in the ceiling. "As you can see. You are currently under the sea. I have fulfilled my promise to reunite you with your two children safe and breathing. However, of course, whether they stay alive or not depends on our conversation, doesn't it?" Jake asked calmly. "Bastard! You used my children as bait for the sharks!" shouted Patrick Smith furiously.
