"Do you think I need a haircut?" I asked Zach while looking at my reflection. He quickly nodded. "Yes, sir. I think you'll look more presentable if you get a haircut." I paused and stared at him. He added, grinning at her through the huge mirror of his little vanity glam. He did great. Sabrina knew that she would look good with bangs, but she didn't expect him to trim it so good. They drenched him in bathing oils and dunked him into a bubble bath with herbs and all sorts of fragrances that made the smell of dirt on him disappear but did not clash with each other. The grime was scrubbed out of his hair and the hair on his body was shaved off from his legs, arms, armpits, face and pubic area by request of the prince. This bareness alone made Shawn feel refreshed but embarrassed at the same time. JOSH POV I check my appearance in the hotel’s floor length mirror one last time. I just had a haircut in preparation for tonight’s date… hopeful date, anyway. I have it styled short on the sides and back with a little longer on top. Several of the guys on the team say it is a soft, modified version of a high and tight and I can’t disagree. I don’t like my hair long. Never have. It makes my helmet sit weird if it’s too long. That’s a distraction on the field that I don’t need. So, I’ve set a haircut schedule to every three weeks and that seems to be the perfect interval to keep it manageable.

Five days later. Shaun walked out of the judicial department with both his hands shoved in the pockets of his trousers. After being locked up for a few days, he now had a crew cut, but it did not ruin his attractiveness. On the contrary, his attractive facial features became more prominent. It made him look even more arrogant and intimidating. “It must’ve been a tough few days for you, Eldest Young Master.” Hadley went to him excitedly. Rodney thumped his chest. “Motherf*cker. I thought I’d never get to drink with you anymore.”

I get defensive, I honestly thought Phoenix was capable I didn't expect for this to happen. Raven and Embry spend the next 20 minutes trying to remove the brush from my hair before agreeing it isn't coming out. Embry helps Raven cut the brush free before cutting and styling my hair. He trimmed the sides short, blending the bald patch perfectly into a stylish fade. The long, gloomy hair was gone, replaced by a sharp, clean cut that highlighted Sebastian’s strong jawline and high cheekbones. He looked younger. Sharper. Like a bamboo shoot after the rain. "Done!" Tony announced proudly. Then he glared at Harper. Harper walked over, clapping. "Wow! Tony, you are a magician!"

“Alright then. Minutes passed after she got to work, carefully trimming my hair with experienced hands. She would tilt my head occasionally to get better access to my hair, but I didn't mind. I welcomed the chance to let my mind wander to other things. I shouldn't have, but my mind drifted to Kaiden and what his reaction would be when he saw my new hair. More than that, I wanted to see how it would look on me. Would I look more mature and serious? Or would I look younger and like the naive person who believed that her life would be like a fairytale years back? After a little more time, Savannah finally lifted her face away from my head and wiped her forehead. “Done!”
