I couldn’t stand seeing her like this. I wrapped my hand around her shoulder, patting it gently, while my other hand rubbed circles around her back. I let her cry for a while. Maybe she needed to let everything out to feel better. It took a long time before her shoulders stopped vibrating and she stopped sniffling. Her breathing had evened out, coming out in slow deep breaths. She had fallen asleep on my chest.

She started shaking as agony filled sobs escaped her dry throat, she gripped the bedsheet tightly in her fists groaning in pain as she tried to get up but she fell back onto the bed when she felt an unbearable pain in her shoulder. Her eyes and face turned red due to continues crying as her sobs turned into low hiccups but her eyes widened with horror as the bathroom door opened, revealing her living nightmare whose blank face turned into worry and concern as his eyes fell on her terrifying form.

“Little wolf. I am not in the mood to deal with your shenanigans.” She looked up at me, and I saw the tears pool in her eyes. “It's all my fault. Kill me. Please.” Her hands grabbed my shirt, and I saw the tears pour like a fountain from her eyes, her eyelids stuck tight together like she didn't want to relieve the memory, blond long lashes scrunched up in pain. I wiped some blood that was on her face with the back of my hand, then I sat down and took her into my arms. She came easily, resting her head on my shoulders, and cried.

Her voice sounded different now and for a moment I thought she was scared. I nodded, still smiling, trying to make her comfortable and accept it. “Yes.” That was all it took, she moved forward quickly and pulled me into a tight hug. Her arms wrapped around me firmly, like she didn’t want to let go. I felt her body shake slightly, then I realized she was crying. Her tears dropped slowly on my shoulder as I pulled back gently and looked at her face. Her eyes were filled with tears. I lifted my hand and wiped them away carefully. “Mother…” I said softly. “Why are you crying?”

I buried my face in her shoulder and cried. She didn’t say anything. Just held me tighter. Let me fall apart in peace.

Pulling her near I put her head on my shoulder as tears rolled down her face making my heart burn with sadness and guilt. What made her like this, I have to solve this because I couldn't see her like this.
