Shifting Eye Method Novels & Stories

Then you are pretty close to knowing how it feels to shift for the first time. After you do it a few times, it becomes quicker and you don’t feel the pain at all. Charlie will be shifting in the clearing. I will be guiding him through it with pops. Pops said if needs be, he can command Valour to shift, but he would only do that if his shift becomes dire. A normal shift takes fifteen minutes, but it feels like an eternity. So I know this is going to be harder for him because he was a siren first. So we are preparing and trying to keep his mind off of it. So far, it is working.

” He stills his movements but I can’t tell if he’s trying to do what Patrick has asked. “It took me four years to be able to use my eyes during a partial shift. I discovered quite by accident, that looking at the eyes of another wolf with black-out eyes allowed my eyes to adjust quicker to my surroundings than if I just forced them to open. Based on your reaction I believe you’ve shifted like this before but you haven’t had anyone with experience to help you with it.” He nods his head slowly against my arm. “Open your eyes slowly. Look straight ahead at Luna but slightly up so that you can see me. If they start to hurt then you shut them and start again when you’re comfortable.”

She does better with staying back stage, or so she convinces herself. Taking a few steps closer to her, I watched as she kept her head low, avoiding my gaze while shrimping herself further to look small. I extended my hands out, resting them on her shoulder. Pushing them back slowly, I made her straighten her spine and square her shoulders, no longer looking so small. Then, I moved my hand to her chin, raising her head so she aligns her gaze with mine.

I voiced out, balancing my hands on her hips to adjust her stance properly. "Close your left eye and keep your right eye open. The darkness produced by your closed eye is luring you in but that's not the focus. Focus your attention on the picture your open eye is trying to paint for you. Narrow your open eye on the bull's eye." My voice was soft and laced with comfort. I was trying to make her as calm as she could be. No, you are trying to push her buttons. The tiny voice in my head reminded me and I smirked.

Rebecca moved past us, stepping between Jessica’s trembling frame and the gathered Alphas. The convulsions wracked Jessica’s body over and over again, granting her only seconds of stillness before the next wave hit. “During my research in the family library,” Rebecca began, her voice calm despite the chaos, “I came across an ancient method. One that was used for cases that matched...Jessica’s.” She tilted her head toward her sister before shifting her piercing gaze back to us. “A method to force the shift.” Raymond’s face drained of color. “Wait—you don’t mean—”

And thеn she starts mоvіng her head uр аnd dоwn, up аnd down her lірѕ mоvіng the full lеngth оf my ѕhаft, frоm tір to bаѕе, оvеr аnd over again. Her hаіr flірріng еvеrуwhеrе, covering hаlf hеr fасе but her gaze nеvеr leaving mіnе, hеr еуеѕ looking deep in my soul, hаrd at wоrk, рuѕhіng me tо thе еdgе аnd thеn over іt аnd mу ѕрhіnсtеr tіghtеnѕ and I buсk my hірѕ аnd I say, “oh ѕhіt, oh shit, оh ѕhіt”

And I… never called him out on it and I would just sit beside him. Once I sensed he had calmed down, I had perfect ideas of how to make the lashes hurt less. A smile filled my face as they came to me slowly. Move your hands down subtly so his force would be reduced. Don’t lock your muscles. That’s what makes it worse. Most times the tricks didn’t work. Back then, he had always needed me and I was always there. ‘And now…’ my smile faded. I adjusted my direction slightly, turning toward the woods.

When I feel my body begin to shrink, I smile. “Now, tuck your wings into your back,” he says. “That’s the part I struggle with,” I tell him. “I think of it as folding them into a compartment, then closing the door on them so they can’t pop out again until you're ready for them,” he says, grinning. It’s a good visualization and I use it to help me pull my wings into my back. “Thanks, Iniko. You should tell Kaylani to use that visualization in her shifting class.”

When I shifted I noticed that he was looking at me as if I was going to disappear, but I could only pick on it from the corner of my eye the moment I was looking directly at him as well as he directed his eyes away in the same moment. Well, let's see where this takes us.

"When she grips my finger, it's almost uncomfortable. And she tracks movement earlier than developmental charts suggest." "Advanced across the board, then. Not surprising given her genetics." Dr. Chen straightens. "I'd recommend keeping her shifts monitored. At this age, she won't have control. They'll happen spontaneously, triggered by strong emotion usually. Make sure she's in safe spaces where shifting won't cause injury." After he leaves, Freya and I look at each other. "Our daughter is three weeks old and already shifting," she says. "Our daughter is remarkable," I counter. "Like her mother."
