she muttered. The knocking grew louder, more insistent. Olivia came down stairs, her curiosity piqued. “Mom, don’t open it,” Olivia whispered, her voice shaky. Her mother hesitated but ignored her daughter’s warning, unlocking the door. Three men in dark suits stood on the entrance, their faces unreadable. Behind them, the black SUV’s headlights cast a glow on the driveway. “Mrs. Harper?” the tallest of the men asked, his voice calm yet chilling. “Yes?” her mother replied, her voice trembling.

“When the Veil falls. When the Forgotten Ones rise. And when the world needs a ruler who is neither human… nor cursed… but something in between.” He stepped closer. “Aria is not your enemy,She is your last hope to awaken the queen as well.” “And you?” she whispered. “What are you?” Harry smiled—sadly, almost kindly. “I am the shadow that prepares the throne.” Then he turned, vanishing into the dark. The headmistress sat alone, the chalice almost slipped from her hands. And for the first time, she wondered—who was she really fighting for? For three days nobody saw or heard from Harry.

Then back at her. Absolutely not. Harry was my younger cousin. Twenty-three. Rich, reckless, and had the attention span of a goldfish. He’d been kicked out of two colleges for fighting, and last I heard he was “investing” in crypto by day and racing motorcycles by night. He flirted with anything that breathed and left a trail of crying girls behind him. And Shula, my Shula, who blushed at the word ‘virgin’, was practically vibrating at the sound of his name.

His words felt like nails scratching in my head, increasing my irritation and anger both, “You are dumber than me. Do you really think that you can get to Alessio by harming me?” Harry shook his head with a wide grin, “No. He is going to lose his mate to a tragedy. Then maybe he will go mad. Maybe he will go in depression. Whatever the case will be, we will enjoy it and have fun.” “Oh my god…” I groaned, cringing, “seriously? Do you think this is some kind of TV drama where you can take over the reign of a nation by killing a girl that hero is paired with?” Harry narrowed his eyes. “You don’t need to be concerned about that.”

It's a relief to know that whatever is causing this affects him, too. I unbuckle the belt that holds the book covers closed and look at the first page. It is written in intelligible symbols. They are like some kind of runes. I bite my lip. Alex said that the book was sealed with magic and also said that the Sorceress's magic resides in my blood. Before I lose my nerve, I rummage through the drawers of the nightstand and find a box wich contains hundreds of colorful pins. In the movies, every time the protagonists faces a similar situation they take a carving knife and open a gigantic wound in the palm of their hands. Thank goodness this isn’t a movie.

“Now, what did Jonathan write?” “Let’s see. Scepter equals Excalibur. Sword of Gryffindor rules. Mirror of Erised.” I squinted a little as I read the handwritten note. Isis shifted in my lap, turning to look at me, utterly confused. “I’m not sure I understand that. Why does Jonathan go from talking about Excalibur to Harry Potter? I mean, both are British, and Merlin is in both, though obviously only spoken of in Harry Potter.” Isis’s brow was furrowed as she tried to understand that strange way my friend’s mind works.

Jacob smiles as his phone on his desk rings, he quickly picks it up holding it to his ear but he immediately looks towards Blake with a sad expression. Don't worry the call had nothing to do with me but sadly was very relevant to what was about to happen, but I won't tell you about that yet or I'd be skipping parts of the story. Things were about to turn ugly for me and I'd be put in situations I never thought I would be, again strap yourself in tight, this ride is far from over.

I roll my eyes and elbow Bellamy in the ribs. “Sure.” Harry answers, waving around his right hand which is still clutching what I can now see is a shiny glass bottle full of something purple. “Incubi delivery service. Where we always deliver the whole package.” He says with a wink. I groan. “That was terrible Harry.” I complain. “I could try another one. You would be surprised how many lines I can come up with using the word ‘package.’ Harry offers. “Please don’t” Bellamy says dryly.

answered Harry to the girl. "Daddy, you have an appointment for doctor Chris to examine you today." Said the dark brown hair figure with the golden shirt, still from the outside of the door. "Oh, yes. Daddy forgot..." Mr. Harry then stood up, "I forgot, I have an examination for control today!" explained Harry to his guest. ### They are walking outside the campus. "It is so weird..what we've done...looking for girls to marry inside the campus. So weird." Said Remus.
