Archer stood over him, his fists clenched, his expression twisted in a mixture of rage and determination. My stomach churned at the sight of Archer's white shirt, stained crimson with blood, the fabric clinging to his muscular frame. His hair was dishevelled, his normally composed demeanour replaced by a raw intensity that sent shivers down my spine. He looked like a man possessed, a force of nature unleashed upon the world. My mind raced with a flurry of emotions, my heart torn between fear for Jason's safety and a desperate desire to calm the storm raging within Archer. "Archer, don’t kill him," I finally said, my voice barely audible, "Stop this. You're hurting him."

The door burst open with a deafening crash, splintering into pieces as the force of the blow sent us all reeling backward. Shadows poured into the room, dark and menacing figures silhouetted against the moonlight. The Archers had arrived. "Stand your ground!" Sharon shouted, her voice cutting through the chaos. She let loose an arrow, the projectile whistling through the air and striking the first intruder square in the chest. The Archer fell, but more were right behind him.

She had to trust in their strength and focus on preserving her own self-control. With a surge of adrenaline, Archer leaped forward, fending off the raiders with swift, calculated strikes. His eyes met Violet's for a fleeting moment, a mixture of worry and desire shining within them. "Stay back, Violet!" he barked, his voice laced with urgency. "We'll handle this."

Dread Hideout, Dread Country Sighing, Acharius headed back toward his caves. His huge form should’ve lumbered, but he moved far lighter than he should’ve for his size. His blonde hair hung to his shoulders, a few warrior braids near his face. A fur was slung over his back with a bow and a quiver over that. He lifted the bow over his head just as he reached his chamber but paused when Alazareth’s voice summoned him back out. “Acharius!”

"How's Archer?" "Archer? So, that's his name?" Lily blushed, taking a seat on the chair beside him. "His injuries are severe. He has broken legs, fractured ribs, multiple concussions, and some internal bleeding. But he's incredibly strong. He's been fighting every step of the way. We were able to get the bleeding under control, and he should be well enough to shift within the next couple of days."

Caleb called as he slashed at the closest dark blue spearman. The archers of the New Emperor's Army tried to return the volleys of Aurora's Imperial troops. their shots were unfocused, even hitting some of their own men in the process. Watching this, a lithe young Guardian with her hair twisted up many small tight buns stood on the shoulders of one of her bulky friends as a leather thong hung loosely from her hand. She allowed a smooth stone to fall gently into the pouch in the middle of the slingshot before swinging it swiftly around in a circle and releasing the stone toward one of the offending archers. in a writing that Shiro was surprised to understand. "This doesn't feel nice " said, still walking towards the statue, looking around the hall that was empty. "Somebody stop me " he said in his mind. He wanted to scream, but he couldn't open his mouth, he just kept walking until he reached the statue and placed his hand on it, then he removed it and watched as stone plating began to fall off, revealing a real man in armour.
