You might find my characters irritating at some point of time but there is the reason for such behaviour which will be revealed over the period of time.

I can have Jesse pick it up. I look back at my car before going ahead. The only place I saw when my tommy growled was a bakery. The aroma alone made my tommy happy. I walked in, in a rush. After I had eaten I saw seven framed pictures on the wall. I had a look. Behold my best enemy. My girlfriend's murderer. It had the pic of when she was in highschool,I think. Then when she was just a little girl. Eight years. Looks that way though and others were pictures of her growing up.

“I know this is your kind of story, but don’t get yourself killed over it. Look into it, but don’t do anything reckless. I need you alive to write the damn article.” “Gee, thanks for the concern,” I muttered, but I couldn’t deny the excitement bubbling beneath my fear. This was the first real story I’d had in years, something that wasn’t just roadwork or town meetings. A mystery. It was a real mystery, and I was in the middle of it. But that excitement was quickly tempered by the memory of the creature’s glowing eyes and the sheer terror I’d felt in its presence. Whatever that was, it was no joke.

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find the answers that will satisfy my curiosity. I was about to turn off my laptop, when a link popped up on my screen. Without any hesitations, I opened it. There were only few words listed on this page. It says that there is an unknown author who wrote a mysterious book which contained everything about death, clock birthmarks, soul mates and ill-fated relationships. I spent time searching for it. The title of the book is Hidden and just like it's name, it was nowhere to be found. My mom and dad also accompanied me to the clinic where Callie used to check up but Dr. Alvidarez was no longer there. Same goes to Dr. Montressor.

A faint smile lingered on his face as he tapped the seat beside him. Without thinking, I walked over and sat where he had tapped. Everything felt natural, as if I had done this many times before. He stood up and crouched in front of me. The moment his hand touched my foot, a strange numbness spread through me. It felt like an electric current running through my body. I quickly pulled my foot back and murmured, “No… this isn’t appropriate.” I did not know whether he heard me. He only lifted his gaze slightly and said, “You’re very sensitive.”
