Vette
Will there be a second book? I noticed the author doesn’t comment on anything so I’m gonna guess and say no that the readers don’t seem to matter with zero interaction from the author.. good book though.

I so enjoyed reading this and am so excited to start the second one. This novel was very well written and kept me interested. I like happy endings and the threat of revenge still is something to be aware of. The writer of this story is very talented

Marked by The Alpha Mated to His Brother

Marked by The Alpha Mated to His Brother

No emergency. No fighting. Just the palace existing. People living. A maid laughing softly with another. Children running through the halls. Guards changing shifts. Someone complaining about paperwork to his fellow worker. Normal. It almost feels wrong. Because my entire world feels like it is falling apart. But everyone else is still moving. Still eating. Still laughing. Still living. Maybe that is how the world works. It does not stop just because one person is struggling. I eventually find food. Something simple. I sit for a while.

OFFSTAGE, on my Mind

OFFSTAGE, on my Mind

he said, softly enough that Rory didn’t turn it into a headline. “What is?” I asked, even though I knew. He shrugged slightly. “This. Normal.” I kept my tone light because that word, normal, was starting to feel like a delicate thing. “Bright side,” I said. “Normal is free.” Jace smiled a little. “You say that like it’s rare.” “It is,” I said, and his smile faded just enough to remind me we were both thinking the same thing. Around 5:30, the door buzzer sounded.

Claimed by Death

Claimed by Death

I’ve been trained, by stories and warnings and quiet cultural threats, to expect the world to respond decisively when something irreversible has happened. Instead, morning arrives like it always does. Light spills across the bedroom floor in a pale, ordinary stripe. The radiator clicks once, then settles. Somewhere outside, a truck reverses with a steady beep. A neighbor’s door opens and closes. The building breathes the same way it did yesterday, and it does not pause to acknowledge what changed. For a moment, that normalcy feels like mercy. Then it feels like something else. Not indifference. Precision.

Ruin me, Stepbrother

Ruin me, Stepbrother

I need to show to myself that I could want something that wasn't toxic, forbidden and outrightly wrong. My fingers moved before I could overthink it. I typed out "How about today?" but then deleted it because it seemed too eager, too desperate. I tried again with "Today works if you're free?" and deleted that too. I was just thinking about something very perfect, normal and my style. I finally settled on something that felt casual enough. "Hey! Sorry just saw these. Today actually works if you're free? I could use some normal after this crazy week." I hit send before I could think about changing my mind again, and then immediately regretted the very 'normal' comment because what if he asked

A Kiss For Every Bruise

A Kiss For Every Bruise

“Being out helps, doesn’t it?” “Yes,” I said easily. And this time, it wasn’t a lie. “I think I needed to remember that the world is still… normal.” Julian nodded, visibly relieved. “That’s exactly what we hoped.” Normal.....I almost wondered if they heard how hollow the word sounded. Normal didn’t exist for me anymore, not the way it once had. But safety did. Or at least the shape of it. And right now, safety looked like invisible men who didn’t crowd me, didn’t touch me, didn’t demand anything.

Her Father’s Billionaire Best Friend

Her Father’s Billionaire Best Friend

In those moments the rest of the world—ledgers, lawyers, the hornets that hung at the edge of our life—fell into a shape that allowed me to breathe again. Afterward, we lay tangled, the kind of sleep that was more waking than sleep, my cheek against his chest and the steady beat beneath me a small world I trusted. He traced a lazy pattern across my spine and said things in the dark the way one murmurs secrets to trees: half admissions, half vows. “Do you ever think about what normal would look like?” he asked, voice soft. “Not the headline kind—something smaller. Coffee at eleven. A dog we both pretend not to want. A stupid movie every Saturday.”

OFFSIDE

OFFSIDE

Then looked at me. We existed like that. The morning doing its thing around us. The light shifting. The building coming alive in the small sounds of other people's days starting on other floors. We talked a little, not about anything significant, just the low-level conversation of two people occupying the same space in the morning without needing it to be more than that. It was the most ordinary thing. It was completely new. 'Don't say that out loud. Don't make it a thing. Just let it be what it is.'

A Cold New Year

A Cold New Year

On New Year’s Eve, Kian Newman never came home. Instead, he had someone deliver a container of frozen ravioli and sent me a single message: "Stay safe this year." I had barely locked the screen when a photo popped up in the company group chat. Isabel Wilkinson, Kian's assistant, had posted it. It was a lavish holiday dinner spread across the table, every dish clearly homemade. The caption read: "Someone spent all day cooking so I could have a taste of home. Love you."
