ROSALINE….. I was lying in my bed staring at the white ceiling. My life was on a roller coaster ride which now comes to a track. My family is complete now. The same way I wanted to live my life. Alexei, I, and my children. A happy family. But real life was not that simple. Because Life was not a bed of roses. But it was full of thorns. Life is full of struggle but there are a lot of problems and challenges faced by people in daily life.

While I enjoyed living alone and being able to do whatever I wanted whenever I wanted, I did miss sharing a meal and the day-to-day interactions of living with someone. "Mind if I grab a shower, I don't want to get your furniture all dirty." He asked. I'd noticed the bit of motor oil on his arms and the dirt on his face and in his hair but hadn't said anything. He must have just come from work last night. "Sure let me show you where it is," I said. "These houses are all the same, if it's like our place I know where to go," he said getting up and pulling off his shirt as he climbed the stairs.

I remembered how we had our first camping, our first diving lessons, our first times trying the rides and my first time to feel that I lived a life. My disease is my greatest motivation for now. It made me realize I have a shorter life than others and it keeps on telling me that I should not waste any moment. It was scary at first knowing my days are just numbered but now, I am not that scared anymore. I want to seize my seconds with everything I had. When someone cared about another person, they were mindful of everything that person possessed. Even the smallest pain was worthy of concern. Real life wasn't like fiction. Most people didn't experience cataclysmic events or life-threatening situations. Thus, where else could we show our care and love, if not through the mundane sufferings of daily life? The sun shines outside like it says good morning to any people sleeping in their beds. The cold breeze from the outside made them shivers and stand up unwillingly to work like doing a daily routine for them. After sleep, you woke up, prepare to work, going to work, leave for work and go back to your bed. But as they said, you should live your life to the fullest. Do your work for daily expenses but don't forget to live your life like you wanted it to be.

Miracles occur every day, like a flower that grows in the middle of the asphalt, or a ray of sunlight after a storm. It's the small daily miracles that make life worth living. Focus on the details and small everyday beauties and you will see that the world is much more beautiful than you imagine. Miracles happen daily, we just need to know how to take advantage of them. Life is not always easy and sometimes we feel lost in the world. When you feel this way, remember that miracles happen every day.
