I unfolded it and read the beautifully written words that melted my heart in one go. “Stay Positive. It's all going to be over soon.”

Sage’s POV “The salad is ready!” Kehlani yells out for everyone to gather for dinner. I stand next to her, placing the flowers I picked with Corbin a day ago. The red petals cut through the lush green of the salad and looks pretty in contrast with the almonds and feta cheese that’s also in it.

Otto clears his throat and hands me a single flower. My favorite. Valley Sunflowers. They're a deep red with a bright orange lining the tips. Beautiful and rare. A nice touch.
