I said with a laugh as worry lines creased his brow. At speeds of over five hundred miles an hour, we passed computerized automotive harvesters and hovering seeding machines that dotted the landscape. Leaves as bright as jewels spun through the air in the Hipper’s wake. In the distance, the towering ice mountains stretched across the horizon. The ice lands covered two-thirds of our planet, sustaining a population of more than eighty million.

I shot Stan a dirty look, wondering how long he'd drag this on for. "Go!" I was ready this time and took off at a sprint. I slammed into him and grunted as I bounced back off, landing on my backside. Coming in next to them the masked driver drew a very familiar silver revolver and aimed it, Skyler ducked as the shots blasted through the car, it was clear the aim was at the windows, as the sharp rays of the sun shot through the car Skyler saw the two in front steam and scream at the same time, but ducked under the dashboard. "Fuck! Who is that!?" Gideon screamed not letting his foot of the gas, but Skyler already got the hint, she reached over and drew the handbrake, making the suv dip and sink into the sand, its engine still roaring, Skyler was out head first through an open window and fell into the sand, the dune buggy came in next to her an the driver waved. "Get in!" Without hesitatio

He ran along the elevated platform, barreling through the crowds, oblivious to the immense danger approaching. He didn't notice, but Skylar did. Her eyes, cold as glaciers, focused on the approaching train and the deadly, frozen tracks beneath the platform. She gripped the rough stone she had stored in her spatial dimension. With the raw power now flowing through her, she could use that stone as a projectile, striking his head with impossible velocity, sending his body tumbling onto the tracks for certain, gruesome death.
