Shoulder Blade Hurts When I Cough Novels & Stories

Everything suddenly became completely blurry as ribs cracked. I felt a sharp pain immediately engulf my chest, causing me to cough and splutter, a stream of blood quickly fell out of my lips and down my chin. I think my bone had pierced my lung somehow. My breath was getting more and more difficult to catch. I knelt there attempting to even out my breathing when my neck cracked I screamed and shouted shaking my head hoping the pain would stop if I asked it, but it was cruelly unrelenting.

Whoever my savor was muttered. The fresh air burned as it replaced the smoke, making me cough so violently that I thought a lung was going to come out. A sharp pain shot down my body as my other shoulder got hastily put back into it’s socket. My wolf was so pissed that she was working double time to get everything back into place. “Breathe!” I heard a man’s voice pull at my face. His hands wrapped around my cheeks as if he was examining every inch of me. However, there wasn’t any tingles.

“You would look cute yelling at me in a hospital.” I glared, pressing the ice a little firmer. “Not funny.” His breath hitched, then he relaxed slowly, letting the cold seep in. The muscles under my hand were tense, and trembling. Then, I asked again, “What happened?” He didn’t answer right away. Just stared at the ceiling, his jaw tightening again. “Jaxon.” He swallowed hard. “It’s my shoulder, I had an injury in highschool....that left my shoulder fractured and it never healed right.”

I heaved a sigh as I moved to sit up but I felt a sharp pain from my ribs. "Ugh," I groaned in pain, closing my eyes and waiting for the annoying pain to reduce. Slowly, I managed to sit up but not without getting the same pain again. I groaned. Letting out a sigh, I looked around me. I don't see Pablo anywhere. I winced the minute I felt another pain but from my shoulder. Fuck you, Carlos! I looked at my shoulder where the bandage is. It has a little blood on it. I looked down at my ribs. The bandage around it has blood on it as well.

"What?!" I nod my head slightly."She attacked me while I was on a-a wa-walk and was taking me to Shadow. I-I managed-" I broke off, my mouth opening wide as I screamed silently in pain. My shoulder was spasming and it felt like my bone was about to pop out. "Heyyy, it's okay. Breathe through it." Caleb coached me while he applied pressure on that spot. "You okay now?" He asked several minutes later and I nodded in confirmation.

Blood spurted from his left shoulder, splattering his face. If he hadn't turned his head quickly, the blade would have struck his head instead of his left shoulder! "Die!" Gerard looked crazed, gripped the short blade with both hands, and pressed it down hard. Austin couldn't help but gasp in pain. The agony from his left shoulder surpassed the pain of his entire body being cut by the razor floss earlier. In a daze, he even heard a faint "creak" from his left shoulder—the noise of the blade slowly cutting deeper into his flesh.

He favored his right leg, and his left shoulder dropped a fraction of an inch lower than his right side. "You have a torn rotator cuff," I pointed out. I gestured toward his left arm. "Or at least you have a severe muscle strain. You are compensating for the pain by shifting your weight to your right knee, which is exactly why your skating was so sloppy during our defensive drills yesterday. Coach Gregory will bench you the second he notices the injury." The smug smile vanished from his face. His jaw tightened, and he stood up straight to hide the uneven slope of his shoulders. I had hit a very raw nerve.
