I shook my head, "I am gonna have to love this life more than anything, but what if...what if I can't, what if I just don't feel it?"
She smiled, a small smile, "Every mother goes through what you're going through now," She said, her eyes on her little boy as he peacefully fell back into his dreams, "We all have our insecurities," She shook her head, "None of us is born a natural," She added, "But when your baby is born, and when you hold him in your arms that very first time, you will feel so silly for ever doubting yourself," She assured me, "It's an instinct Emma, a one you won't be able to fight, believe me."
