The Slave Owner

The Slave Owner

Martin nodded, shaking in fear while Carter and Simon chuckled. "It is understandable, as long as you don't fail me then I will ignore that you were with my slaves or even better make her yours, you can get married just like someone here," Simon said, and rolled his eyes to Carter, while Martin followed. "Really? I can do that, I won't fail you my lord" He bowed. "If you'll excuse me, I must start immediately," He said and excused himself before Simon could say anything. Simon scoffed and went to his seat "I like him, he seems trustworthy"

Winner Takes All

Winner Takes All

"Well, here I am—Austin Campbell." "Austin Campbell? Never heard of you. You think you have more clout in Eastbrook than my boss, Ethan Brook?" Simon sneered, rubbing his temples. Suddenly, a look of realization crossed his face, and he laughed. "Oh, now I remember. You're the little punks who came earlier, trying to take that land from Mr. Brook, right?" Bang! One of Simon's lackeys slammed the table and pointed at Austin, shouting, "You bastard! Do you even know who you're talking to? Mr. Marshman smacks down dozens of punks like you every day!"

My Ex-Husband Wants Me Back

My Ex-Husband Wants Me Back

Griffith, being part of the establishment, didn't head toward the dance floor. Simon, on the other hand, was different. He had already taken off his suit jacket and unbuttoned his shirt collar, not even bothering to wear a tie. He was afraid that people wouldn't recognize him as a playboy. He immediately plunged into the west hall. Michelle had noticed him long ago and wanted to approach, but Mariah pulled her away for socializing, causing her to feel anxious. Charlotte was sitting in the small garden between the east and west Halls. She could see Simon on the right and Griffith on the left. She calmly chatted with Rebecca and then took out her phone, sending a message to Simon.

 Magic in the Moonlight

Magic in the Moonlight

I put him around twenty-six, but looks were deceiving with wolves. He held out a hand for me to shake. "I'm Marshall Benjamin, but everyone calls me Marsh. I'm Derek's second." His grip was warm and firm, without any tremor of the interest the other wolves were all but vibrating with. "So, how are you enjoying the party?" I raised an eyebrow at him, "Party? Really? It feels more like a fishbowl, at the moment." Marsh's hearty guffaw was contagious and I found myself smiling at him.

His Student Mistress

His Student Mistress

For a man his age, he sure had surpassed his peers, and if he kept his pace, in less than five years, he’d reach the pinnacle of it all. “Oh, Mr. Beaumont. I’m very glad to hear. It feels good to know that for the first time in a long time, we are veering off in the right direction.” Dr. Rhode Ashton, the president of the club said and Simon smiled. He was an ordinary member of the club, but he knew the power he held. Dr. Ashton and Dr. Antoine had offered him the Seargent-at-arms position—the next ranking after vice president, countless times and he had declined their offer. He knew he was very much capable, but Simon was a man that liked to earn whatever he got.

Having My Pick of Love

Having My Pick of Love

Simon looked up from his computer. Simon was six-foot-three, had sharply defined brows, a straight nose, and a pair of deep, cold yet mesmerizing eyes. Overall, he was ridiculously stunning. He glanced at me briefly, his expression indifferent. "No." Dr. Wilson, who was sitting across from him, raised his head in surprise. "Dr. Lawson, weren't you—" Simon shot him a sharp look, and Dr. Wilson promptly swallowed the rest of his sentence. Josie pressed on. "Then are you going out for dinner?"

You've Got the Wrong Woman, Mr. Lance

You've Got the Wrong Woman, Mr. Lance

To Laura's and Jennifer's surprise, Simon acted as if he didn't recognize them. Instead, he walked straight toward Miguel. "Simon?" Miguel was delighted and immediately stood up to hug him. "It's been so long!" He turned to Laura and Jennifer. "Let me introduce you. This is my student, Simon Moore! He's my most accomplished student by far! Right now, he's one of the top lawyers in the country!" Simon smiled. "You're too kind, Mr. Gosling. I should have visited you long ago. I didn't expect to run into you here today."

The way this book is going, I don't think it will end Maxwell and Jennifer being together, which will make the story be out of line and less interesting, because now Jennifer is planning to go abroad with another man without considering the children's feelings. I'm not interested in this book again
Angela
Laura’s story should have been a separate book. Maybe it would have had an ending instead of just stopping abruptly. We won’t get the chance to know if she finally found the courage to leave Simon after his years of humiliation or if he stood up to his mother and dumped Hailey completely.
