Sinful Names Novels & Stories

The Seven Sins are the most powerful demons, after Lucifer, to ever exist. Feared by all and wielding unbelievable power, they can wreak havoc without even meaning to. Hence, they mostly remain in their strongholds and barely ever step out to grace the outside world with their presence. They are Pride, Lust, Greed, Wrath, Envy, Sloth and Gluttony.

“Calm down you both, he might not have recognized me. Shame on you both for being disloyal snitches, I taught you better than this and you know it.” “Oh please, you know we’re both right, you can’t just compare. Logan is a nice person and all that but your Sin is actually Nicholai Ivanov. How in the world did I not think it was him? His friends call him Sin, short for the Sinclair in his name or Sin as in ‘he commits sin’ I’m not sure but both descriptions fit. I’m amazed!” Bipasha exclaimed with a goofy grin. “Tell me again, how was he? Rate him on a scale of 1-10.”

His gaze drifted toward the pond as though seeing something far away. “My mother gave me the name.” Arabella listened quietly. “She was called Aiyana Ahkeemi before marrying my father,” he continued softly. “Ahkeemi means ‘wise’ in her language.” Arabella smiled faintly. “It suits you.” A low chuckle escaped him. “I assure you, my mother would disagree.” “She sounds wonderful.” Something softened in Edwin’s expression then. “She was.” Arabella rarely heard him speak about family. Most times he avoided the subject entirely.

I sat in my office, legs crossed, my eyes fixed on my phone. What was I so interested in? A picture of Griffy. Well, his full name was Griffin Antonio, but I loved calling him Griffy. It was a nickname I had personally given him, in my heart, anyway. I knew it was kinda lame, but no human being could read minds, so I wasn't too worried about it. Griffy was, like, the hottest man I had ever seen.

I didn’t require it but I queried anyway, I could ask Mattea to send her next time without knowing her name. “Anais,” She told, cleaning the edge of her lip. It sounded more like anus. “Anais… perfect name for someone like you,” I commented and she smiled. It wasn’t a compliment, it was mockery if she knew. A girl like her was made to be called a walking fuck who could be banged anywhere by anyone.

"Son..." "Don't ever call me that again," Sinjin growled, pointing a finger at his father, whose jaw dropped in shock. "I’m going to file for a name change to show how serious I am about this. I’ll keep my first name because I like it, but not Santillan. It’s a cursed name." "It hasn’t come to this, Sinjin. Let’s talk about it," Brendan pleaded. "I’m done talking," Sinjin said. "I’ve been talking for years, but no one listened except Edselyn. Now that you’ve all succeeded in driving her away, I’m finished." He turned and stormed out of the living room.

She just wanted to leave. I grabbed her hand and started to lead her away when the voice came, stopping me in my tracks. "Children of son always run. You both are a taboo. That woman is a whore. A gold digger. A fanily wrecker. You are going to burn in hell. You are going to end up with bastards and taboos just like you and taint the world black! You noth shall burn in hell." He started to pull out a knife from his back, his eyes fully focused on Cora.

Always envying other deadly sins. Beelzebub the fifth deadly sin, a woman with red hair, she is the sin of gluttony. Always eating 24/7. Wrath the sixth deadly sin, a man with golden hair and golden eyes, he is the sin of anger. Always angry for everything. Belphegor the seventh deadly sin, a man with brown hair and golden eyes, he is the sin of sloth. Always lazy. With Lucifer they complete the seven deadly sins, but as Lucifer was no longer in hell they left and roamed around the earth deceiving people.

and the way those four words had hit me in a place I thought I'd sealed shut. She didn't know who I was. Not really. I had given her my middle name, which I always did when I went out. Vincent. It kept things simple. It kept the gold diggers and the socialites and the tabloid reporters at a safe distance. But Lara hadn't asked about my money, my job, or my name. She had asked me what made me laugh, and when I couldn't answer right away, she had looked at me with those olive-green eyes and said, "That's sad, Vincent. Everyone should know what makes them laugh."

Having everyone commemorate my brother, wishing him the best of luck because he's graduating, leagues will gnash at him. As they did me. "Logan!" "Carter." Anyone who still manages to do some good in the world must have a strong heart. Here's Carter McNally, he's in the process of signing with the UFL. I'm not a great judge of character, but seeing as this man nearly raped a girl in our senior year, managed to get away with it, and still has things going great for him, I'd say penance isn't always immediate. Sometimes, it never comes. Good thing I don't plan on waiting.
