The siren song, echoing through the walls, chilling my bones. "Luna!" I shouted, racing down the hallway, panic gripping me like icy claws. Finn's voice came frantic from one of the rooms. "Mom!" I burst through the bedroom door, stumbling to a halt at the sight before me. Luna lay on the bed, tiny body shaking violently, her long hair spread like dark silk over the pillow. Her eyes were wide open—glowing softly with a faint, eerie blue-green light—and the song spilling from her lips was ancient, heartbreaking, powerful. She was convulsing, her small fingers clenched tight in the sheets.

Wrapping a gift with care, she hastened towards Marriane, her mind consumed by a mysterious intent. As Marriane chatted animatedly with her friends over the phone, an ominous presence engulfed her. "Who's there?" she dared to inquire, but the silence that followed only intensified her unease. Suddenly, crimson drops fell upon her forehead, an inexplicable source of blood that sent shivers down her spine. Her voice trembled with fear, but her pleas went unanswered, lost in the abyss of solitude. She did not completely recognize the reflection that met her or the feelings coursing through her. Sidney relieved herself and splashed water on her face until she could tell herself she felt more normal again. I looked at him, and I didn't see a lord. I saw prey. My vision bled into pitch black, the sclera of my eyes completely overtaken by Siren’s dark gaze. A terrifying, feral smile stretched across my face. I extended my claws, letting the elongated, razor-sharp bones dig deep into the sides of Halvar’s neck.

Jeanie snapped her fingers in front of my face. "Shit!" I whispered under my breath. Jeanie chuckled softly, knowing exactly what her presence alone had done. I took a couple of steps back trying to remove myself from her invisible tentacles that could latch onto a man's mind if he even stood too close to her. Let's not even talk about the brain fog that comes along with being in her presence for too long. Those things are not even something that a siren can control. But the siren's melody can fry a man's brain.

"I don't want to hear a word from your filthy mouth! Just stick to what you know how to do best. As for your son, forget about him." Then I made eye contact with Alpha Damon and I could feel noise in my mind. It wasn't an outward effect but I felt like someone or something was making noise in my head. Soon it became clear and my contact with Alpha Damon intensified. "She's a siren." I heard in my head and my eyes widened. The noise in the room arose and I could see her eyes burning. Sirens hated noise. All of a sudden, she started to sing so loudly. "Everyone, cover your ears!" I managed to scream. Most people didn't understand me and they started falling into a trance one after the other.

I can feel the sinister power coursing through my veins, a palpable force that threatens to overwhelm me. As the nightmare intensifies, I find myself unable to escape its grasp. I'm trapped in a twisted reality where an old woman with gnarled hands hovers over me, her sinister laughter echoing in the darkness. I struggle against invisible restraints, my heart pounding with fear as she reaches towards me with chilling intent.

I breathed in deeply, his scent was gone as well. I'm left with an undying thirst for his blood, his ghost grip around my neck and a curious twin sister who I had no explanation to give. They could vocally make one fall under their spell and persuade them to do their bidding. Usually, they used dreams or hallucinations as a means to lure the individual out of consciousness so they would let down their guard. Only weaklings would fall under the spell of a siren, he was no weakling. Such couldn't be said for his fragile little human mate, who was now following him silently as they walked back to the house.
