His Unwanted Wife Returned as a Boss

His Unwanted Wife Returned as a Boss

The black-clad Cleaners dropped their weapons, their electronic headsets emitting a high-frequency tone that forced them to their knees. The silver-fox chopper of the Corsairs touched down in the center of the wheat field. Siren stepped out, her cybernetic eye glowing a fierce, frantic violet. She looked up at Julian on the roof, then at the barn, which was now pulsing with a rhythmic, amber light. "You did it, Thorne," Siren shouted over the dying whine of the engines. "You brought a goddess into a basement. Do you have any idea what you’ve just handed the world?"

Alpha Kayden and His Hybrid Mate

Alpha Kayden and His Hybrid Mate

A siren? How in the world was this possible? Sirens were never supposed to exist. They were bedtime stories that the elders decided to put in the pups' books so that they didn't wander into the ocean unsupervised. She was a monster from a children's book who lured unsuspecting enchanted humans to their deaths. There was no mistaking the alluring quality of her eyes or the seductive and confident body language.

Mated to the Devil, becoming the fae Luna

Mated to the Devil, becoming the fae Luna

I blink focusing back in as Serena is still speaking, “Sirens like myself, are specialized in their ability to convince people to do anything we please with just our voice. We live a lifespan on par with wolves. My mother who is full Siren can also grow a tail when in water. I can not grow a tail because I am not a full blooded Siren as I have a lovely wolf. But I can breathe underwater, swim exceptionally fast and have powers of persuasion. We also have songs that let us do particular things. For example, I have a song that calls upon a torrential storm no matter where I am. Another one that can heal minor injuries. Songs are passed down through the Siren’s family. Like with all being the s

The New Age King // Book 2

The New Age King // Book 2

"The siren is a liar, Amber. I watched the dragons, remember? I watched them along with the fairies. There were very few dragons that didn't like the fairies. Sirens didn't interact with the dragons and moved between the realms secretly. None of the sirens appeared friendly with the dragons. Furthermore, no one is starving. Currently, the dragons are at war. The few remaining dragons who hated the fairies are losing, but no one is starving. There are more than barren lands in that realm. The siren who spoke to Sara didn't say a single word of truth. You are a kind soul, Amber...but that kind soul could cause devastation to the Earth. You need to find this siren discreetly. We need to know wh

Great quicker read overall. There were unexpected plot twists and well developed banter throughout. The author brings life to different attitudes that aren’t commonly written into novels, which I loved. My only note is that I WISH the author would write more about the lives of Sara & Tab’s pups!

Alpha Atlas

Alpha Atlas

I tried not to think too hard on that bit of improvement. “Sadareen, your people might know her as the mother of all sirens. She is one of the few true immortals in this world.” Micah spoke with a detached voice, one that held a deadly edge. “The sirens of this world are not like those of your legends. They live in our oceans, and only emerge to feast. They are scaled, webbed creatures that covet beauty above all. The only way to hold back one of the few immortals is to curse them in some way, bind them to a physical form. Sadareen was once the spirit of the ocean, but make no mistake; she was not kind nor benevolent. The only way to stop the endless death was to bind her into a human form.

This book was slow at first and filled with a lot of pain, but I find myself being a sucker for the wounded girl who becomes a strong, badass fighter. While I'm still clamoring for more of the raw, love/hate relationship in this book, I am enjoying the determination of the strong female protagonist.

When Monsters Mate

When Monsters Mate

Different instincts, Same hunger. Then, softer now, he said, “There’s more at stake here than politics and bloodlines, Leonidas. Something older is stirring. The Fae have gone silent. The witches are... watching. Our enemies multiply in corners neither of us can see.” “So you want a leash around the storm,” I said under my breath. “No.” He shook his head once, deliberate. “I want to point it at the right enemy.” I stood. My height towering over everyone in the room.

The Siren Song Series

I holler at her over the noise of our friends. "I didn't listen," she calls back before the gaggle of people moving to the other building carries her off. When I turn to Moby, he's stark white, having lost all color, fear marring his face. "Moby?" I question in concern. When he doesn't respond, I call out to him a little louder, "Moby? Are you all right?"

My Lord Alpha

My Lord Alpha

Just as he arrived, he saw that his mate was halfway being pulled away through his portal by a siren. Sirens were female creatures, half bird and half woman with alluring voices, their power rested in their melodious voices. They could vocally make one fall under their spell and persuade them to do their bidding. Usually, they used dreams or hallucinations as a means to lure the individual out of consciousness so they would let down their guard. Only weaklings would fall under the spell of a siren, he was no weakling. Such couldn't be said for his fragile little human mate, who was now following him silently as they walked back to the house.

How does this book have such low views? This is a masterpiece! This might be my first time reading a werewolf story so zealously without missing any details. Such a breath of fresh air and unique storyline from the other books in this app. The alternate universe, the timeline, everything is so good.

When I saw the title "The Lord Alpha" , I was like 'what the hell is this book about?' It never disappointed though. Wayne and Candice so much reveals how twisted our fates could be at times and I kept imagining how it'd be if I suddenly uncover my spouse was a mermaid or something weirder even...

The Siren's Dark Past

The Siren's Dark Past

I don’t need any woman to beg for me to have a good day, I need a man who’ll be my meat. Practicing for years to master the art of being a good siren can be a long and hard way. However, the hard work is paid now Lav. I walked with passion in the middle of the crowd with a harmonious face. Before going in the elevator I wait for a fewer group to be with me. They are all staring at me, this is not a new situation. “Madam, is it okay to ask?” I tilted my head and looked at the kid who asked. A cute miniature.

Frequently Asked Questions

The question of whether sirens are evil or misunderstood really depends on whose stories you believe. In ancient Greek myths, sirens were often portrayed as deadly temptresses, luring sailors to their doom with enchanting songs. But if you dig deeper into some lesser-known texts, there's a sense that they might have been cursed or bound by their nature, unable to resist their instincts. Maybe they didn’t choose to be predators—maybe they were just trapped in a role forced upon them by gods or fate.

Modern retellings like 'The Siren' by Kiera Cass or even some indie games explore this idea, painting them as tragic figures rather than villains. I love how folklore evolves over time, giving old monsters new depth. Personally, I’ve always wondered if the sailors in those myths were just projecting their own fears onto creatures they didn’t understand. After all, the sea’s full of mysteries, and sometimes it’s easier to blame the unknown than face our own recklessness.
