The Calling Chapter 1 I am walking down the cliffy road, it’s dark out with only the street lamp to illuminate my path. I am slightly cold and very irritated at my current situation. I had gotten to my car only to discover the battery dead. Obviously the car would not start, could not even unlock the bloody door via car remote.

Penny widened her eyes and nodded her head down towards Thea’s crotch. “Yep,” Thea answered dryly. She held up three fingers and mouthed “three times” at Penny. Penny frowned, “Bellamy, do you know what we are?” she asked brazenly. Thea slapped her leg, “Hey, if he knows, we can just kill him, he should already be dead anyway!” Penny shouted. Thea dropped her head into her hands and sighed. “Yea, you’re sirens,” Bellamy answered nonchalantly. “I knew as soon as Thea bumped in to me yesterday and I knew about you when you tried coming on to me in the kitchen.”

His breaths were beginning to sound heavy, I could hear my own heart thumping so loud that I feared it might explode. His phone suddenly rang and only then did he pull away from me. He squinted his eyes at the caller ID for a moment before staring at me. "Duty calls, I’ll be back and don’t try anything stupid. My guards are not so lenient." He mumbled in his deep baritone before heading out briskly. Whoever that was, I was grateful for the call. I couldn't even begin to imagine what would have happened. The whispers began emanating from the book again, this time stronger than the last. I might not be able to cure his curse but something about this old brown book was compelling me to read it.

I don't want the history, I need to know how to end this" she yelled furious and threw the book away. Two hours ago, she met Lucian and he looked like life had been drained out of him, not having his mate back affected him greatly and he was a mess. She had promised him that she would find a solution and he counted on her for that, reading through the books was her first option yet she felt like she wasn't getting anything from the books to help him. She picked up another book and a paragraph caught her attention, "There is only one way to kill the Sirens, by burning the host on fire" she read. "No No, That's gonna kill her" she yelled furiously sending a shock wave out of her body, the book

“And it did not recoil because you were empty.” Elara’s breath caught. Sella turned another page. This one held a drawing of a circle with only one name written at the center. Elara went still. Darius’s voice lowered. “A single-name call is rare. Most packs deny it ever happened.” Her gaze stayed fixed on the drawing. One name. Alone inside the circle. Just like hers had been on the screen. “What is it?” she whispered. Sella answered carefully. “Some records call it a warning invocation.”

I watched as he walked to the couch, picked up an old-looking book, and came back. He sat beside me and handed it over. “The sorceress said this will help you learn about your powers.” I opened the book. Pages filled with information about sirens stared back at me—history, abilities, how to control the voice, the strength, the magic that lived in the blood. “I wish I could help you more, but this is all I can give you right now,” he said quietly. I held his face with both hands, looking into his eyes. “This is more than enough. I promise I’ll learn about this siren side. I’ll learn to control it. And nobody will be able to hurt you or anyone else. I’ll protect you too.”

I groaned before slapping my hand on the nightstand and moving my hand against the surface until I found my phone. “Hel–lo?” I asked confused as to why HE of all people was calling me. “Seraphina, why do you sound out of breath?” It took all of my will power not to let a moan out as Callan pressed one of his thick fingers inside me while continuing to use his ministrations on me. I bucked my hips and bit my lip when I felt my walls begin to clamp around his finger. Not listening to the voice on the phone, I moved it away from my face and bit down on my other arm to stifle the cry I made as my orgasm flooded all of my senses.

Serenity turned off the music and walked inside the bathroom as she kept sweating all over. *Olivia Mini* She pulled down the box and poured out the whole content in it. Using her hand to search for the book she's looking for. She heaved a sigh of relief when she saw it. She sat on her bed with the book. PHONE BOOK was written boldly on the hard cover. She rushed to the clan general telephone and put the numbers in as she dialed the number. "Hello" she heard and smiled. "Who is this please ?" The voice asked.

"He also told me about akharus and usemis." "Just akharu and usemi. You don't say the 's.'" "Well, he told me about idimmu, too, these half-breeds. They are known by other names, too, like sirens. He said I was one, but different. And that you are like me." "A siren is a type of idimmu. A siren can force you to do or feel things that you don't want to. Peter thinks you are making me feel drawn to you."

He didn’t reply right away but enclosed me in his arms. “Can we now start all over again?” he asked, smiling through his tears. I nodded and smiled. And at that moment, I also sent a quick prayer for Zed that he could also move on and start over. THE END Author's note: Thank you so much for reading Book 1 and 2.
