I had been asleep from 1975 to 2025. I am the only successful subject to have ever survived a cryonics experiment. Wearing the face of a 20-year-old, I set off to seek out my wealthy younger brother and reclaim my place in the family. But a barrage of comments suddenly appears. "This female lead is stupid. Her brother took her small shop and turned it into a business empire. People change. He doesn't even remember her anymore. Why would he want to reconnect with her?" "Exactly! The Slater family is tearing itself apart over the inheritance. If she shows up, they'll kill her!" "Michael Shaw truly loves her. If she marries him, she'll be happy for life." His words touch me. Before I can reply, I hear his thoughts in my ear. "System, did you post the fake comments?"

Because of what I witnessed the night before my wedding that really broke my heart. I decided to push my plan of seducing Frederik Wilford for my sister to taste my sweetest revenge for making me feel worthless and unwanted.

The day I died was the same day as my twin sister’s birthday party. She was in tears and was wrapped up in my boyfriend’s arms. My mom was seething with anger and kept calling me over and over again. My brother was clearly upset and sent me a text saying, "You’re so selfish. You just can’t stand to see anyone else happy." He tries to hold himself back from pulling her in and kissing her again. Jojo blinks her eyes in confusion. She lifts her finger and touches her wet lips. “What? You have always been my brother, right? We... we can't do this.” Finn scoffs and leans closer to her again. “Stop being so naive, Jojo. Yes, you are my little sister. But you can be something else, can't you?“ “Something like?“ The more confused Jojo asks, looking into his eyes. But she shudders again. “Brother? Why are you looking at me like that?“ Finn chuckles and holds her chin. “Like what? Isn't it because I want to kiss you again?“ He asks and leans in for a kiss. “Um… Brother…” “Ssh!“ Just at the same time, the door is pushed open, and Vera walks in. Jojo quickly adjusts her clothes. “Your fiancee is here... I'll leave,” she says. But Finn pulls her into his arms and prevents her from leaving. “I want you to stay,” he says, looking up at Vera, whose eyes are teary. “What do you want, Vera?“

Losing someone close seems to always happens to us regularly. But then we don't seem to accept it rather we blame it on someone or something. The same goes for Nafisa Abubakar, married at a very tender age and also losing her husband at the time, She wished life will end for her also. Her husband, Hussaini died or rather was not found in a plane accident. His family and other people assumed he died. Maybe. She always does dream of her husband coming back to her but that dream was shattered when she remarried his twin brother, Hassan.
